Does the JCP have any members outside of the Pacific besides BRTD?

I'm registering!  Somebody told me I had to, and that  "this is the place."

Are you registering as an Independent or with a party?

Hint: If you want to win in the Pacific, you should register as the JCP. Otherwise, you will never, ever, ever, ever win an election.

What is JCP?  Who is in it? Why would I be rejected by being an independent?  Why would folks not look behind the label to the person, and his or her qualifications and temperament for high office?

The Pacific region is ruled by bgwah, the longtime Governor. He has around 6 or 7 loyal supporters who back whichever candidate he gives the JCP endorsement to. The JCP is the Jesus Christ Party, which initially was a sort of joke Christian right party but now has just become a center-left party. Whether or not you agree with their ideology shouldn't be important to you though, the only thing the JCP is concerned with is power, and if you're willing to support the other candidates in the machine, they will be willing to support you.

And I'm really not exaggerating how much they dominate the region. No one who isn't a JCP member has won there in over a year and a half.

Well I shall run as an independent. If I lose because of it, so be it. I think I am well qualified for the office, and hope folks will consider me with an open mind. Cheers.

I wish you luck on your noble endeavor. If people keep attacking it, someday the machine will crack

How are the constituency voters created by the way. Is it where you live, or what?  With whom should I be campaigning, and about what?  God, I need a manager! LOL. Any volunteers?

The Senate has 10 members. Five are elected by region (each region gets one). The regions are permanently set and do not change. The other five are elected by a nationwide vote using a form of STV.

Most candidates start a thread called a Campaign Headquarters or office, and then occasional deliver speeches or write up policy proposals there. PMing voters to talk to them directly can also help.

The regional Senate elections are notoriously uncompetitive though, as there are so few voters in each one and so few undecideds. And so often incumbents simply cruise to victory.

I don't care. I've already used you. You no longer serve me any good.

Oh, and BTW, if your running mate goes ahead and runs with you anyway, I'll use the authority I don't wield as Vice-Chairman to expel him from the party.

OMG U KNOW HIS SECERT RUNNINGMATE?!?!/!!1! TELL ME PLZ!!!

You should really just join the AUB and push it from within there. We welcome sub-caucuses.

Do you want me to add you to the wiki now or should I wait?

I'll become a full fledged member depending on the outcome of the platform vote. It's up to you guys if you want to include my potentially brief flirtation with you.

The Silverite wing of the SDP supports the SRPP in their pro-silver endeavors.

Thank you Governor. This really isn't a partisan issue - it's one of basic human decency.

oh,well I don't know if that's a movement I can identify with, shucks, thought it was something new and trendy rather than retro

I will not allow Atlasia to be crucified upon a cross of gold.

Unaffiliated (at the moment)

Would anyone be so kind as to help me become more acquainted with Atlasia. I read through some of the stickied threads but there does not seem to be all that much information there.

They're also horribly out of date. We should get someone on that.
