No need for anyone to re-register.  I've got everything up to date.  No worries at all from a current registration standpoint.  The only thing lost will be the history, but everything that is currently-relevant is intact in my records.  I'll publish another new list soon so everyone can see what's current.

Oh, and also I agree with Don that separate threads for actual registration and commentary thereon might be useful.

Also, StatesRights, you have been registered in Idaho since December 23.  You cannot change states at this time.

Furthermore, the voter rolls have been updated.

It seems unlikely that 2 pages of bickering in a thread of 290 pages would warrant the deletion of the other 288 pages as well.

Kevin, you registered in California on November 22, so by law you cannot register in another state until January 21.  Thanks.

Some may criticize this decision, but I've taken a good hard look at all the current active parties, and even though the ILP disagrees with me on some issues, I think they're the best party for me right now.

It makes political sense if your ticket is trying to appeal to liberals.

I don't know about the other political parties -they haven't exactly been kept updated recently as ours have.

If you check either the voter roll files or the Wiki files, voters are sorted by, among other qualities, party affiliation.

It's really good to see this recent uptick in new registrations and the infusion of new blood.

You're already registered in California with the Progressive Conservative Party.

You're already registered in Florida with the Christian Democratic Party.

I request that, upon the completion of this election and not before its completion, that the Department of Forum Affairs revoke my registration.
John Ford has enterred this request, presumably it should be interpretted as invoking the Deregistration Act.
Is this automatic or is it only official when the DoFA adjusts the rolls?

The DoFA is required to honor such requests.

However, the DoFA is also permitted to "make regulations as necessary to specify how requests for deregistration should be made," which I don't think we've done yet.

Either way, I'll include this de-registration in the next update of the voter rolls.

Welcome to the Southeast, King!  It's good to see every state in our region with at least 1 resident.

I've discovered a small problem.  King changed his state from Maine to Oregon on January 3, which means that his change from Oregon to Alabama on February 23 (51 days later) wasn't valid. Fortunately, it won't affect the census since King didn't vote in the last election.

The next SoFA should be advised of this. Wink  He should also PM the voter in question to inform him that he is still registered in Oregon but is now free to move elsewhere.

Nice work, Ernest.

none - basically registering in Puerto Rico is a self enforced 60 or more day break from most forum politics, altho TD would still be eligible for a cabinet position or even the Presidency or Vice Presidency.

Good one, Ernest.

Actually, seeing as the Governor (wherever he is) never accepted my resignation, I'm taking back my position as Lt. Governor.  Tongue

You cannot.  The Southeast Constitution makes no such requirement for an official to "vacate his office" (Article I).
