The Social Democrats may also consider the "We Have Never Been Elected To Anything and Probably Never Will" Party (WHNBETAPNW)

Ah, like the old PLP before them who, despite being the second or third largest party in Atlasia, only was able to elect like 2 Senators over the span of a year and a half.
Coincidence? I think not Smiley

And the AUB are what? The ''Our Candidates Are Always The Last One In Elections'' Party (OCAATLOIE)?
I actually boost a lot of elected officials.  Myself, SoFA Earl, Gov. Sensei, Lt. Gov. SPC, Judge HappyWarrior, Fmr. Sen. MasterJedi and SoS, Lt. Gov. Lief, and Sen. Meeker.  In fact, out of the 11 member, NINE have held office.

And your first nationwide election, the at-large by-election for replace Earl, an AUB member, is not what I call a success.
HappyWarrior, the officially endorsed party candidate, is running strong.  2nd now I believe, although I don't feel like doing the math, certainly within striking distance.  Strong considering we have half as many members as the NLC

In that case, we could try to convince some of our more right-wing posters to get together & form a conservative party. The NLC could stand as the moderate party. The JCP & the SDP would fight it out for the title of the liberal party. Sounds like a plan to me.
The problem is there are not enough conservatives left in Atlasia to make a conservative party that could have any success, except perhaps in the Southeast if the turnout was right.  That is why the AUB is great, it has a lot of conservatives and a lot of liberals all working toward one goal.

Why not have two parties with different political goals but a common game-related goal?
No, that is in no way what we want to do.  Again, out of the 11 members we had (some have gone I believe) 10 held office.  Obviously we know what we are doing, so far Xahar you are yet to hold office or stop your parties from crashing into the ground.  The fact we are doing the exact opposite of what you say is probably a good idea.  I like you man, but seriously, chill out, you do your thing we'll do ours.

Not once the Deregistration Act thingy take effect, which I think it did.  Your membership will just lapse after missing 4 elections

My policies are not hypocritical.  My point was that inactive people came out for an inactive senator.  You guys are really jumping to conclusions, Daniel Adams and dead0man are inactive?  They have never been in Atlasia, did it dawn on you that could be the reason why they were inactive?  That's like asking why I never showed up to attend high school while in 4th grade

I never said they'd be inactive. I merely said what if they turned out to be? A lot of people registered for Atlasia but never became active. It wouldn't be the first time it'd happen.

Can we define "active" with regards to this section of the message board?  Does one have to debate or run for things to be active?  Your answers wont make me stay or leave, just taken for consideration.
I think PiT summed it up well.  Active really means you do more than just vote every once in awhile, it means that you show up for almost every vote and contribute to debate if its going in your region.

Gotcha.  Are there any on going debates or votes I should/could be participating in?
You can vote on the proposed constitutional amendment to take power away from the regions, the booth can be found here:

https://uselectionatlas.org/FORUM/index.php?topic=80616.new#new

Other than that there is not much going on in your region, national elections are next week and party elections are around then as well.  Don't worry, PiT will send you and other party members a PM reminding you of this Smiley

Yeah, I read that.  I wasn't sure/didn't care, so I was abstaining.  I suppose I should have posted as much in the thread...errrr booth?
You could, but its not necessary, most people who don't have an opinion on an amendment just don't vote on it

I wish to join this new Regional Protection Party. I shall no longer be a conservative independent, or independent conservative, or whatever I was last classified as. I shall remain in Vermont.
Somehow I forgot, welcome to the party!
