Name: Ryan Duffy
State: New Jersey
State of Mind: Tired but willing to WORK for a VOTE
Party: Atlas Forum Republican Party

The Republican Party is dead here. You may want to try the Federalist Party.

Yep, no real parties here anymore. The best thing would be for you just to be an Independent. It gives you a lot of freedom!

Whoa. No real parties? That's not what I said.

No real world parties.

What, you mean how we voted to ban you from the party? You're not wanted.

Of course he isn't wanted, but he's only banned from holding a leadership position or being endorsed.

Well then we should ban him from joining the party, it would work much better.

the JCP is really starting to flex its muscles, hm? Smiley

Arisen from the ashes of the SDP. Should be an interesting dynamic come election time.

Well the thing is they won't all be bgwah zombie voters like they are now. They'll be able to think for themselves so it should be a lot more interesting.

Hello! I would Like to register as:
Yoman82
New Jersey
Life and Liberty Party

Welcome to Atlasia! Might I say though you you would make a good member of the Regional Protection Party (RRP) which is home to the conservatives of Atlasia. From libertarians such as PiT to more populist members such as myself.

I will consider it, thank you.
Also, what is your party's position on gay marriage? Is it still an issue in Atlasia?

As far as I remember (could be wrong though) our party believes that the regions should have power over whether or not to have gay marriage. Our party's members though have a wide range of opinions on the subject. But for the most part gay marriage hasn't been an issue around here in awhile.

That is something I more or less agree with (I'm slightly left leaning on the subject, but that is acceptable). What is the current status of the issue in Atlasia, legislation wise?

Took me awhile to find it but on the federal level: https://uselectionatlas.org/AFEWIKI/index.php/Elimination_of_Civil_Marriage_Law_and_Establishment_of_Civil_Unions_Act

I can say I honestly don't know about the regional level.

All state contracts between couples are civil unions. And welcome. I would suggest you join the centrist Democratic Alliance if this issue is important to you. You'll find plenty of conservatives like myself in the party. Drop me a line for more information  Smiley

As far as I know it's only you and Dan that are conservative. Franzl is close to you but a centrist. Everyone else that I can think of is center-left. Tongue

Thank you for the help, I will be talking to you both in the future. Although the issue is important to me, so is economic conservatism, which is one of my main criteria in a party. I think this concept is very interesting, and I will look forward to voting (And hell, maybe even running for office) in the future.

Well I can say that everyone in the RPP, besides ben is at least somewhat socially conservative. Most of our members are more economically conservative than me.

I do find the CDA's platform quite intriguing, but I oppose the War on Terror and your budget provisions. For this reason, I do not think I will join your party, although I may be a swing voter for it because of your agreeable status on small government. The RPP also interests me, and I will consider membership in the future if it so suits me. How would one go about running for office in the future, and who is the current leadership in the Northeast?

Current elections are ongoing but the current Governor AndrewCT of the DA will be re-elected. Lt. Gov. is a write-in race between Barnes from the DA and RowanBrandon from the RPP. Unfortunatly since you registered during the race you can't vote. And your recently elected Senator is Hashemite, also from the DA.

Elections for those 3 offices should be held in 4 months again IIRC.

Sounds good. I may consider running on the RPP ticket for senate, but this is anything from sure yet. This game seems quite interesting.

Whenever you choose to join the RPP (hopefully you will) we'll all be here to welcome you. My advice though is to take plenty of time to familiarize yourself with the game so that whenever you do choose to run for elected office you know what's going on. And if you do choose to run for something in the Northeast, 4 months should be plenty of time. Smiley

Ok, I have some info. Farmor-Labour is Giovanni. From what I know his old account got screwed up when he put in a new e-mail address. He created the new account and Dave has said he agreed to merge the two accounts and that Farmor-Labour should know about it.

Giving this info out so that nothing can happen from it being kept secret since it seems he's acting like a newbie. Givoanni I guess can be removed from the voter rolls replaced by Farmor-Labour.
