Hey Deldem:

May I extend---which I believe the rest of the forum forgot in its rush to label you/defend charges of you being a zombie voter--a hearty welcome to the forum.

Please ignore all the bitching and counterbitching about your registration. It's just a sign of the times 'round here. Likewise, please ignore the understandably nasty taste this might leave in your mouth and PLEASE DO NOT be discouraged from participating actively based on this less than welcoming response. It'll die down soon enough and then the actual government/elections part is actually kind of interesting.

I went through something similar when I registered barely 6 months ago involving accusations of rampant sock puppetry and a guy named Ogis (don't ask). It frankly soured me for the board and almost led me to leave Atlasia in my first week here. I didn't and am actually enjoying it, and hope you will too.

So I say again, welcome to Atlasia!

I want to join but I'm not sure what party I belong in. Except the Jesus Christ Party doesn't seem right for me.

JCP party would be fine. Judging from your matrix score, most DA members do not share your progressive views on economic policy. You'd fit in great with the JCP here.

Consider yourself warmly invited to join. :-)

Seriously! Why the F should we even bother having regional seats if voters move every couple weeks to coordinate strength in regional elections?

Welcome to Atlasia, the JCP and the Mideast! I'm one of your regional assemblymen (the Atlasia equivalent to a state representative, except there's only 3 elected members regionwide), so please don't hesitate to contact me with any questions or suggestions for legislation. Maybe peruse the Mideast Assembly Thread to get a taste of some of the legislation being proposed and debated locally. I warn you though: the other assemblymen (Swedish Cheese and Big Bad Fab) & the Governor (Inks) and I actually get along and work well together despite ideological differences, so there's a boring lack of flame wars there. ;-)

Sorry JCP, it was not meant to be.

It's not like we're surprised or anything.

Not me. I'm shocked I tell you, utterly shocked.

I guess it's too late to make things work out.

I'm just really dissapointed of some people attitute. This was supose to be a game for fun, and you're threting Atlasia like it is RL politics.

I think it would be better for everyone if I resign from Atlasia Fantasy politics. I have to think about that.

Not at all to late, my friend. I tend to agree with you about the points you made, but personally I don't see any reason for me to leave the JCP. I really hope you might reconsider.

Regardless, please do NOT resign from Atlasian politics regardless of what party you decide to stay with. That said, I hope you'll come back to the JCP soon; personally I don't think that would be a mark against you at all, nor would the DA be pissed (though I'm sure they'd rather you'd stay). ;-)

Sorry for all this drama. BGWAH assures me there is room for pro-life persons in this party. I made a mistake and I apologize for it. I was told I do not have to vote party-line everytime.

Agreed 100%

<laugh> Funny. Don't get discouraged from the less than warm welcome here: Keep a sense of humor like that and you'll do just fine.

Huh? (To both the party and the move).

Much as I wish you'd remained in the Northeast Assembly and would like to see you there again, my friend, I don't think you can move again so soon under the new law.

"New Progressive Party"?

First of all, it's party change. My move to Rhode Island will took an efect in late December

Second of all, I';m finished in JCP

Well I understand the party change part (just saw the new NPP thread after my posting. Haven't read it yet though). My point was more I thought one now has to wait a full 6 months before moving again, and it sure hasn't been that long since you went to Alaska.

What gives with dumping the JCP again? I thought that was all behind. :-(

SUCK IT AL.

5 minutes countdown until Sewer Socialist change party again

1, 2 3...

I have no other party to change too.

You can switch to DA for 2 minutes, ACR for three, RPP for 4, LNF for 7 and again JCP for about five

Nah, I'm fine.

Hey, as far as I'm concerned, FWIW, I'm glad you both joined our party and sincerely hope you stick around for the fun. :-)
