Where was that taken from, first?

It doesn't read like the constitution or statute.

Agreed, I'm wondering the same. I remember writing alot about this in the past and that was certainly not the way I phrased it.

It was, however, apparently me. That came from the intro thread. Tongue

I'd just like to make a simple comment here by saying that I think Kalwejt is my perfect defense when people accuse me of being untrustworthy and difficult to deal with. I've changed parties twice in my entire time here in Atlasia, not counting my initial registration. Kalwejt provides the perfect contrast for my detractors: I make my decisions because I truly believe in what I do, Kalwejt.. just does things.

Anyway, that's about all. Good luck in the JCP, Kalwejt, and in all your future endeavors.

The non-JCP left will always be in such shape. Don't really think too much about it.

Has nothing to do with me running for office. I only ran in the first place because someone kept putting the idea in my head. Tongue

I've been thinking about it for a really long time now. I've PMed several people with their thoughts about it and my concerns about joining the RPP if I had decided to.

I'm willing to post PMs, with permission from those involved, if you want. Personally, I believe they prove my sincerity. But if you want to make it a campaign issue, I understand entirely.

So easy to point and laugh. So apparently difficult to spend the two minutes to read my reasoning.

I suppose if the rest of my Atlasian life is just going to be desperately battling with the Numbers Game, I may as well be out here with the rest of the misfit toys.

Look, I'm not interested in rehashing that race. That wasn't actually even the motivator for what made me want to be with the rest of the misfits out here in the Midwest. All I'm frustrated with is the feeling that I'm just bashing myself against a wall over and over again and nothing I do or say matters. I feel shut out of everything and not because what I'm saying is wrong or crazy or unfair, but just because of who I am. I joked on the RPP forum about this actually, but I think I'll repeat it half seriously: "I feel like I'm being judged not on the content of my ideas, but the color of my party labels."

I feel like partisanship, something that used to be sort of healthy in Atlasia, has now exploded into this ridiculous math game in every election. Good friends I've made in the JCP either feel too afraid to vote for me just because of crossing the party-line concerns, or have suddenly forgotten I existed, as if my identity was lost the world the second I left your party.

I feel frustrated that nothing in campaigns matter. People who campaign the most get no benefit for that. It's not a benefit to actually know what you're talking about. Whether or not someone is proposing smart things no longer matters.

I feel frustrated. That is really all. Primarily with the party system, a little bit with the actual people, and a tad bit at the fact that people don't actually treat this game as something they can try to make more interesting, they treat it as something they can obsessively win, which ties back into frustration #1. And thus, I go to the last safe haven of Atlasia I can still think of: the Midwest. And maybe at some point things in this place will change.

*hughughug* Welcome!  I knew you'd come here eventually.  Make yourself at home.  Sadly, our recent Prime Verins seem to have lost the tradition of making cakes for all new Midwesterners, or else I'd offer you a piece Sad

Ummm, Marokai?  I don't think you can change regions yet.  You know, the 6-month thing?

Oh right you are! For some reason or another I thought it was 4 months worth of time between regional moves. But nevertheless, my move will still take effect sometime in August, which isn't terribly far from here, and I shouldn't miss much fun before then.
