ACT TO ESTABLISH A LIVING WAGE

A. HOURLY WAGE

I. The hourly wage in Lincoln shall be no less than $12 an hour
II. Any work over 8 hours on a given day shall count as overtime hours
III. Any overtime pay shall be an hourly amount of time and a half or at least $18

B. IMPLEMENTATION

II. This bill will take effect one week after being signed by the Governor

After thinking about this, I think it might be best to table this. Wasn't sure Lincoln had a minimum wage law before this though I vaguely remember something of the sort from some time ago and it seems to be the one Pyro posted.

The vote to table has now opened and councilors may vote AYE, NAY or ABSTAIN.
