It is December 17th, 2000. The day before all 538 electors meet, We have a winner in the Buckeye state. Al Gore will prevail in Ohio and it's 21 electoral votes by 52 votes after 6 recounts.

Governor Bush calls Al Gore to concede the race.

272-266

In this scenario, Gore never dropped out of Ohio. I also gave Bush NM and WI to keep the race within 10 electoral votes.

I know, But there were reports that Gore pulled his time and resources out of Ohio with weeks left in the campaign. This is if Gore continued to contest Ohio to the end.

I think if Wisconsin goes Bush, so does Iowa and vise versa. They're too close in voting pattern.

True, I could have had NM go to Gore and IA to Bush too.
