Brazil used to have a strong left, but it became weaker, and there is a far-right government now, that's why I included (In the 19th century, some confederates moved to Brazil after the civil war and founded the cities of Americana and Santa Barbara. Brazil was the last western country where slavery was legal).
Some other countries included have very weak left-wing forces, competition between center-right and far-right, social conservative values and free-market economy.

Yeah, some of these options seem odd. I think many American conservatives would pick someplace like Australia or New Zealand if they had to move. I could also see Singapore being a good fit for certain types of conservatives.

I wouldn't flee and most of us wouldn't. We'd fight.

Conservatives aren't leaving anymore than the lefties have.  Herd people don't have the gonads to leave the herd.

lol.

In all seriousness, a lot of white nationalist types like Hungary and Ukraine. Dollar-driven people may weather the storm in Saudi Arabia. Some Jesus freaks might find Brazil okay, but Queensland would be much better.

Okay so when Bernie is President and inflation resembles Zimbabwe 2008, we have 2 choices:

1. Become land pirates
2. Flee

Honestly if I was going to flee, I'd go to Mexico, Brazil, or South Africa.

But in all reality I'd probably stay in the USA.

The funny thing is that these socialist policies will end up leading to such chaos that they will do a better job of further individualizing and "cowboy"-izing America than any conservative policies would.

American conservatives do not speak the languages of any of these countries. We'd likely move to Canada first, Australia second, NZ third, maybe UK/Ireland fourth, and maybe SA etc. fifth...and then this list would be a competition for #6.

WI: Somalia

It has a strong tradition of social conservatism and no functioning central government.

I think my nation is a good contender. Australia, like the US, is an Anglosphere Federation in the tradition of the Common law. In addition, our conservative movement is arguably the most vocal on social issues outside of the US and we are overall more sympathetic to immigration restriction, especially in regards to illegal immigration. However, our laws regarding firearms would be rather toxic to American conservatives.

This is a hypothetical though, in reality a conservative who abandons his nation over an electoral defeat isn't a very good conservative.

Are you serious? People rarely leave their country even when an actual dictatorship is established.

Why isn't North Korea an option? Kim can give Trump some token position and his whole personality cult can follow him over.

Moving to Somalia was an actual non-ironic thing being discussed in libertarian circles in the early Obama years. Good times. Some guy actually did it and wrote a book but then he got parasites or something and died

In this hypothetical situation, Australia I think is the one that would make the most sense.

But I guess out of the options above, Brazil maybe?
