Using the most recient 100 posts. Both using weighed and "count everyone once" numbers

Socialist: 6 / 3 (Urutzizu x4, Solidarity Forever, Jacobin American)
Democrat: 17 / 14 (Italian-boy, elephantower, RaphaelDLG, ON Progressive x3, brughmger2, Hoosier Nick, Parrotguy, BRTD, #TheShadowyAbyss, dfwlibertylover, West Midlander x2, Alex, eric82oslo, Peanut)
Green: 2 / 1 (YE x2)

Independent: 8 / 7 (Lakigigar, Goldwater x2, readeagleofficial, Sozialliberal, thumb21, KoopadaQuick, Wulfric)
No avatar: 1 / 1 (Pericles)
Other: 5 / 5 (FDB, Parochial Boy, Sprouts Farmer Market, Leinad, TimTiberius)

Republican: 3 / 3 (Tea Party Hater, conservatopia, Lechasseur)
Libertarian: 1 / 1 (Dead0man)
Constitution: 1 / 1 (Robowop)

Total: 44 / 36

In the scenario where people with multiple recommendations are counted multiple times, the coalition is easy. Socialists+Democrats would add up to an overall majority.

In the scenario where they are only counted once it gets a bit more interesting as Socialist+Democrats fall short, and even adding the lone Green only gives them exactly half. Most likely they just bring in the lone "no avatar" party as well, or possibly a minority supported by the indies.

Scenario 1:

Socialist: 13.6%
Democratic: 38.6%
Green: 4.5%

Independent: 18.2%
No avatar: 2.3%
Other: 11.4%

Republican: 6.8%
Libertarian: 2.3%
Constitution: 2.3%

Left: 56.7%
Centre: 31.9%
Right: 11.4%

Scenario 2

Socialist: 8.3%
Democratic: 38.9%
Green: 2.8%

Independent: 19.4%
No avatar: 2.8%
Other: 13.9%

Republican: 8.3%
Libertarian: 2.8%
Constitution: 2.8%

Left: 50%
Centre: 36.1%
Right: 13.9%

Seems like my posts have not been recommended  much lately Sad

Anyways, going back 100 posts (4 pages) I get this parliament (20 seats, 11 for a majority)

Democratic: 10
Republican: 3
Green: 2
Independent: 2
Socialist: 2
Libertarian: 1

Anyways, with Democrats at half the chamber, they probably form some sort of minority government propped up by the greens or the socialists

Going back to 100 posts and counting each individual recommendation. Changes since I last did this marked as well:

Tack's Congress of Deputies: 30 seats (+10); 16 seats for a majority

Democratic: 12 (+2)
Independent: 5 (+3)
Republican: 4 (+1)
Libertarian: 3 (+2)
Other: 2 (+2)
No avatar: 2 (+2)
Green: 2 (-)
Socialist: 0 (-2)

Because of the large parliament expansion all parties go up or stay the same. Except for the Socialists which I suppose that fall below the threshold and get 0 recommendations. However the Independents are the ones that benefit the most as well as the Democrats. Other and No Avatar parties make it back into Congress.

A Democrat+Green coalition is 1 seat short of a majority.

Given that in Talk Elections land the Democrats are essencially a dominant party, this does not lead to a Democratic led coalition, but rather still leads to a rainbow coalition: Independent+Republican+Libertarian+Other+No Avatar; holding a very narrow 1 seat majority and leading to the first change in government in Tack50's history.

Tack50-land history:
October 2019-February 2020: Democrat-Green-Socialist coalition
February 2020-May 2020: Democrat quasi-majority government
May 2020-present: Independent-Republican-Libertarian-Other-No Avatar coalition

Edit: For historical continuitiy decided to fall back to 100 posts

So here is the 4th term of the Tack50 parliament. (counting repeat recommendations, up to 100 posts):

Tack's Congress of Deputies: 51 seats, 26 for a majority

Democratic: 26 (+14) (Leader: Alex)
Independent: 7 (+2) (Leader: KoopaDaQuick)
Republican: 6 (+2) (Leader: Penn_Quaker_Girl)
Green: 4 (+2) (Leader: Lord Halifax)
Socialist: 4 (+4) (Leader: SWE)
Other: 2 (-) (Leader: MB)
Libertarian: 2 (-1) (Leader: Lfromnj)
No avatar: 0 (-2)
Constitution: 0 (-)

Lfromnj counted as Libertarian for his old L-NJ avatar and not his current meme one

Don't let the numbers fool you since the number of seats has increased. After in May a new government led by a rainbow coalition of everyone except Democrats and Greens; this government seems to have done rather poorly in office.

The Democratic opposition, angry after losing power for the first time, surged dramatically, giving them an overall majority of seats, so they will not even need a coalition partner this time. The Socialists, after falling below the threshold last time, made a good comeback too. The Libertarians despite the expansion of parliament actually lost seats. As for everyone else, the order of Indies closely followed by Republicans to lead the opposition holds, while the Greens went further up and the no avatars disappeared.

The somewhat unpopular PM KoopaDaQuick ends up defeated and will end up being replaced by PM Alex, leading a majority Democratic government.

Tack50-land history:
October 2019-February 2020: Democrat-Green-Socialist coalition
February 2020-May 2020: Democrat minority government (propped up by greens or socialists)
May 2020-October 2020: Independent-Republican-Libertarian-Other-No Avatar coalition
October 2020-present: Democrat Majority government

Here is the 5th term of the Tack50 parliament. As always, going down only 100 posts

Tack's Congress of Deputies (89 seats, 45 for a majority)

Democratic: 38 (+12) (Leader: Alex)
Independent: 11 (+4) (Leader: Louisville Thunder)
Socialist: 10 (+6) (Leader: Peanut)
Other: 9 (+7) (Leader: Sestak)
Republican: 6 (-) (Leader: Joseph Cao)
Green: 5 (+1) (Leader: Talleyrand)
Libertarian: 4 (+2) (Leader: Lfromnj)
No avatar: 4 (+4) (Leader: Oakvale)
Constitution: 2 (+2) (Leader: Peenie_weenie)

Much like in the previous term, tack50 land has seen a lot of population growth which means a dramatic expansion of parliament.

The Democrats, controlled by PM Alex, running for a second term, while they on paper performed well they actually lost ground relative to the other parties, meaning they lost their majority.

The opposition would once again be led by the Independent party, which turned right in this term in an attempt to gain more right wing voters, with Louisville Thunder as its leader. The effort didn't seem to pay off much on the current environment though they did manage to narrowly retain second place.

The loss relative to the opposition of the Democrats was mostly profited by the Socialist Party, which surged dramatically thanks to its new leader Peanut, which led the party to an impressive second place. The Other Party was an even bigger winner, going from 2 to 9 seats thanks to much competent leadership from electoral hero Sestak.

It was a hard night for the Republican Party. Leader Cao was unable to follow off the good result of his predecessor PQG, and led his party to a crushing defeat, with quite a bit of the diminishing conservative oxygen taken away by the Independents.

As for everyone else, they performed according to expectations. The Green Party, now led by Talleyrand, went from 4 to 5 and the Libertarian Party, again led by lfromnj; went from 2 to 4. Neither saw any big surge.

However the super tiny parties did have a good night. The No Avatars Party, led by Oakvale made it back to parliament with a good result of 4 seats. Even more impressively, Peenie_weenie's Constitution Party made it back to parliament after dropping out of it for 3 elections in a row.

Coalition building was not too hard. The Democrats were the only party with a realistic chance and so Alex led a second Democratic government, this time a minority government propped up by the Other or the Socialist party depending on the issue.

Tack50-land history:
October 2019-February 2020: Democrat-Green-Socialist coalition
February 2020-May 2020: Democrat minority government
May 2020-October 2020: Independent-Republican-Libertarian-Other-No Avatar coalition
October 2020-March 2020: Democrat Majority government
March 2020-present: Democrat minority government (propped up by Socialist or "Other Party)

Wow, we are all the way to 6 terms now. Here is the results of a snap election. As always going to 100 posts only.

Alex and S019 have been counted as red avatars, not their meme blue avatars

6th Tack Congress of Deputies (126 seats, 64 for a majority)

Democratic: 54 (+16) (Leader: khuzifenq)
Independent: 19 (+8) (Leader: Abdullah)
Republican: 18 (+12) (Leader: AustralianSwingVoter)
Other: 13 (+4) (Leader: Big Abraham)
Libertarian: 11 (+7) (Leader: Lfromnj)
Socialist: 7 (-3) (Leader: ultraviolet)
Green: 4 (-4) (Leader: Donerail)
No avatar: 0 (-4)
Constitution: 0 (-2)

Yet another term of strong population growth meant an even larger parliament.

The Democrats seem to have profited from the last term of Alex as PM, even if this last term was very divisive and divided the population a lot. Alex decided to retire and instead khuzifenq would lead the party into the next election. Khuzifenq managed to have the Democratic Party retain its role as the predominant party of Tack50land; although this time it seems it was mostly by stealing from some of their closest allies.

Indeed the Socialist Party did horribly, going from 10 seats to 7 despite the large parliament expansion, and being the 2nd smallest party in parliament. Still, they'd retain enough representation to be kingmakers on some issues.

The Green Party did even worse, getting half the seats in a parliament that was even larger than before; perhaps due to their lack of visibility or other issues; but regardless the only just barely made the threshold after several recounts.

The Constitution Party, who had made a comeback for the first time; as well as the No Avatar Party weren't so lucky and went back to being below the threshold as it had been traditional for them.

On the other side of the political aisle, this was one of the most polarizing elections in Tack50land history, with the Independents, Republicans, Others and Libertarians all wanting to rule together if they got a majority; and they almost managed to do it.

The Independent Party had a decent showing, with their new leader Abdullah being rather charismatic, and going back to their more centrist appeals, especially after they had turned right last term. They were in strong competition for 2nd and barely managed to retain it.

After the complete destruction of the Republicans last term, few expected such a spectacular comeback. Yet leader AustralianSwingVoter almost managed to single handedly resurrect a party which tripled its number of seats. The Republican Party was back in business and ready.

The Others Party meanwhile, who had turned slightly right this term, didn't see a good showing, though it wasn't completely terrible. Leader Big Abraham saw a fairly mediocre result with little to note whether good or bad. Perhaps this might have been a combination of the polarization and the fact that they often supported Alex's divisive Democratic government

The biggest surprise of the evening however came from the Libertarian Party, which had a huge surge thanks to the tireless efforts of their incredibly charismatic leader lfromnj; who managed to turn this small and often fringe party into one that was competing with the Other Party for quite a while.

Given the incredibly polarized nature of this election; with the Democrats in one side and the big opposition coalition in the other, coalition building was surprisingly easy. The tiny Green Party ended up as the kingmakers despite having only a mere 4 seats and only barely making the threshold. In the end; they decided to back Democratic leader Khuzifenq for a 6th Democratic term; even when they were tempted to form a government with the right.

Thus, a Democratic-Socialist-Green coalition government was sworn in; a government which enjoyed a measly 1 seat majority

As always only last 100 posts. And as always S019 counted as a red avatar, not a meme blue avatar.

7th Tack Congress of Deputies (150 seats, 76 for a majority)

Democratic: 63 (+9) (Leader: Alcibiades)
Independent: 28 (+9) (Leader: Abdullah)
Other: 16 (+3) (Leader: ltomlinson)
Republican: 14 (-4) (Leader: Conservatopia)
Socialist: 12 (+5) (Leader: AverageFoodEnthusiast)
Green: 9 (+5) (Leader: khuzifenq)
Libertarian: 4 (-7) (Leader: lfromnj)
Constitution: 3 (+3) (Leader: Sunrise)
No avatar: 1 (+1) (Leader: FourEyedRick)

More population growth means a bigger parliament

In one of the biggest twists in politics, shortly before the election the sitting PM, Khuzifenq, announced he was leaving the Democrats and joining the tiny Green Party. The Democrats managed to keep growing at a slow but steady rate, basically staying where they were last time under their new leader Alcibiades.

Meanwhile the Green Party, now the party of a reasonably popular PM but with not great infrastructure, also saw quite a bit of success, doubling their representation in parliament.

The final party of the left, the Socialist Party, also saw good growth, led by the obscure backbencher in AverageFoodEnthusiast. They had a very policy focused campaign that worked very well on this less polarized environment

Less polarization also benefited very well the moderates in the Independent Party, led by charismatic Abdullah, which this time did not have any competition and cruised to a very easy 2nd place

In third place came this time the Other Party, which saw a radical shift to the left after their jump right under Big Abraham, who got a mediocre result. This time their new leader, the charismatic ltomlinson, managed to energize some of the left better than the very subdued Alcibiades, and their new left wing campaign worked quite well to get votes.

It was a tough night for the Republican party in 4th, which after a moderate campaign, banked down on more polarization under Conservatopia and failed miserably. They were also reacting to the rise of a new, more competent Constitution party, and failed to stop them from getting seats.

The worst night however came for the Libertarian Party, at this point almost an lfromnj personality cult, they suffered a huge election defeat after the novelty of their leader wore off

Finally the Constitution Party got in again, this time under a very conservative but very competent campaign led by Sunrise.

Oh and the No Avatars Party somehow got in. No one really knows what they stand for and the person they elected was an obscure character nobody knew much about, but hey, they got a seat.

With polarization now going down, as well as the massive jump left of the Other Party and a bit of friction with the Green Party due to the khuzifenq switch, the Democrats decided to ditch their old coalition partners in favour of a more stable coalition with just the Other Party, which gave them a majority of 3
