- The Independent Party, a weird coalition of left-leaning idiosyncratic people who hate the Democrats because they are contrarians, takes a strange turn and becomes an affiliate of the Abrahamic Ecumenical Council, with Christian leader Scott, Jewish leader CraneHusband, and Muslim leader Abdullah becoming the new parliamentary leaders and enjoying their sizable gains and newfound solid third place in the Chamber.

I just noticed this but this is pretty cool. I don't know of any (though I'm sure in all the history of the world there's bound to have been at least one) political party that's religiously oriented but is essentially a collection of members of similar faiths working toward the same goals rather than one operating strictly under the principles of Distributism/Christian Democracy or Jewish law or Islam-influenced socialist parties. Sorta like a religious rainbow coalition.

The left faced token opposition from the right in this election. In fact, some observers say that the left-leaning parties were more bent on destroying each other. This ultimately proved to not help the right in this election, amidst controversy when the party leader Fah Taggin praised Mussolini and said that Francisco Franco is in Heaven.

Even with no party having achieved a majority, the left cleaned up in this election. khuzifenq and Western Democrat have agreed to serve as Deputy Prime Ministers. The Religious Rainbow Coalition, which just weeks ago was within inches of winning a plurality in Parliament, massively under-performed expectations despite the country's religious bent. Deputies Prime Minister khuzifenq and Western Democrat have agreed to allow the RRC into their caucus.

The only left-leaning party that will not be part of the next government is the Red Bloc, which both Democrats and Progressives have deemed as radical.
