Ladies and Gentlemen,

Atlasia's government is under a good function, being led by President Republic, and his terrific cabinet. I believe Atlasia's districts and regions are also performing smoothly in the government process, and that the citizens of these areas are happy with the way their governments are perfoming.

I have had a long, sometimes controversial past in Atlasia. From Chief of Staff for our nation's great 4th President, PBrunsel....to a brief stint as Senator in District 3. I understand my past is rocky, but I say, let's move on from all that, and continue to make Atlasia a better place to live.

I want to add to this smooth running government, I want to help residents of the Southeast Region by giving them a leader that has been around, seen the government's function, and is ready to lead.

That is why, I am here today to announce I will be running for Governor of the Southeast Region. I am not running to kick anybody out of office, as much as I am running to put somebody decent, hardworking into office. I am ready for the job, and I am asking for your support.

Thank you all!

Please get out of Houston before I have to enlist the mayor's support to personally remove you.

Boy Naso, I remember the last time you ran for Governor from Texas.  Ya gonna propose spending lots of money on building a series of beautiful lakes in the Southeast? Wink

Based on a proposed Initiative adding a two term limit for Governor by Gov. TCash, it looks like he will not be seeking re-election.

Well then, you had better run against Mike, because I don't think Naso's ready to be a Governor yet, and I really don't want to see what happens if he becomes one...

We really could do without all the derogatory remarks. If you dislike his candidacy you could simply not vote for him on election day rather than make snide comments.

You'll never understand the arrogance of some here, Liberty. Even the most "respectable" members can act so trashy (And here I thought that that was just my job). Anyway, I don't think I can support Naso for a number of reasons but I remain civil about it.

It would obviously be great if States ran for Governor now, then we could replay the tapes over and over again.

Naso, I maintain what I've said whenever you've decided to run for office.  If ever you want a shot at holding office in Atlasia, I urge you to simply create a new username.  Your past record of illegitimately winning a senate election, being possibly the worst senator ever, making inappropriate remarks, and simply being unaware of what was going on around him, essentially rules out any possibility of victory for you.

If, on the contrary, you created a new username, you would be free to establish a new reputation, and run on that.  Notice what NixonNow did with RicDallas I believe was the username.  He began to run for office, and had a shot at winning.

What would a new name do? People would know that it's him and just keep bringing back the old stuff.

I would question whether he was the worst senator ever.

I say this as someone who is friendly with and defends Naso a lot - He was the worst.
