I really would not be surprised if in 2024, the machines force Menendez to retire and replace him with Sherrill.

Besides the impressive fundraising of his opponent, is there any other reason to consider DeFazio vulnerable?

Clinton only won it by 0.1, but DeFazio will likely overperform Biden( who will definitely do better than Clinton here) so no, not really. The only thing noticeable is all the spending on ads here, the CLF has bought some time here and I have seen a few ads from HMP, which seems to indicate that they’re treating this as a competitive race.

DeFazio will do significantly worse than Biden. He's old and frail facing a nice young military hero. The only reason he did so well in his previous elections is he kept facing joke opponents.

I’m skeptical that their will be many Biden-Skarletos voters. But we’ll have to see. But yeah, he definitely doesn’t have as much crossover appeal as he used to.

Opensecrets.org has updated their $ figures for Alek Skarlatos and Burgess Owens, and the $ figures posted in the tweets were correct.

I don't think opensecrets.org made an intentional mistake initially, but they changed the date from 6/30 to 9/30 without updating the $ figure.  Bunch of jerks.

Oh well, I think they're mostly volunteers, so can't be too hard on them.
