BREAKING: Trump to appoint Amy Coney Barrett to open Supreme Court seat; announces via Twitter

Quote from: @realDonaldTrump
I have chosen to appoint Amy Coney Barrett to the open Supreme Court seat. A great pick for America in the future!

Democratic Senator and former Presidential candidate Kamala Harris responded:

Quote from: @KamalaHarris
Amy Coney Barrett has a track record of voting against women’s rights. I and my colleagues in the Senate will do everything to vote against her nomination.

Presidential candidates Joe Biden and Elizabeth Warren voiced their opposition to the pick, while Andrew Yang did not comment, leaving the matter “To the Senate and the President”.

Yang and Biden split contests, Biden takes the Marianas and Arizona, while Yang takes Florida, Illinois and Ohio.

Andrew Yang has shocked the nation by winning the states of Florida, Ohio and Illinois on the March 17 primary. Joe Biden took the Northern Mariana Islands and Arizona. Florida and Ohio were good margain Yang wins, but Illinois was the shocker. Many thought the state was a lock for Biden, but Yang squeaked out a win. The hopes seem dim for Senator Elizabeth Warren, who may withdraw from the race very soon, leaving it to Biden and Yang.

Results:

Florida (248 delegates) :

Andrew Yang: 150 delegates
Joe Biden: 70 delegates
Elizabeth Warren: 28 delegates

Arizona (78 delegates) :

Joe Biden: 40 delegates
Andrew Yang: 26 delegates
Elizabeth Warren: 12 delegates

Illinois (184 delegates) :

Andrew Yang: 90 delegates
Joe Biden: 65 delegates
Elizabeth Warren: 29 delegates

Ohio (153 delegates) :

Andrew Yang: 65 delegates
Joe Biden: 45 delegates
Elizabeth Warren: 43 delegates

N. Mariana Islands (11 delegates) :

Joe Biden: 6 delegates
Andrew Yang: 3 delegates
Elizabeth Warren: 2 delegates

American Samoa
Democrats Abroad
Northern Mariana Islands

Mr. Andrew Yang: 1,108 delegates (9 states + AS)
Fmr. Vice President Joe Biden: 884 delegates (9 states + DA + NMI)
Senator Elizabeth Warren: 663 delegates (9 states)
Senator Kamala Harris: 95 delegates

Murmurs inside Warren camp; Campaign may be nearing end

Elizabeth Warren

Senator Elizabeth Warren quickly emerged as the Progressive frontrunner after the death of Bernie Sanders. But, many of her voters ended up casting ballots for the current Democratic frontrunner, Andrew Yang. With most of her base eroded, Warren's campaign may be nearing an end. If she were to drop out, it is most likely she would endorse Yang.

BREAKING: Amy Coney Barrett confirmed 52-48

Amy Coney Barrett, the controversial Trump nominee for RBG’s seat on the Supreme Court, has been confirmed 52-48. The votes were among party lines except for three Senators. Senator Lisa Murkowski (R-Alaska), Senator Susan Collins (R-Maine) and Senator Joe Manchin (D-W. Virginia) voted outside of their party. This means that Amy Coney Barrett will become an Associate Justice of the United States Supreme Court.

Current Supreme Court:

Chief Justice John G. Roberts (Moderate)
AJ Clarence Thomas (Conservative)
AJ Stephen Breyer (Liberal)
AJ Sam Alito (Conservative)
AJ Sonia Sotomayor (Liberal)
AJ Elena Kagan (Liberal)
AJ Neil Gorsuch (Conservative)
AJ Brett Kavanaugh (Conservative)
AJ Amy Coney Barrett (Conservative)

5 Conservative, 3 Liberal, 1 Moderate

BREAKING: Elizabeth Warren ends campaign for President; citing low support and low fundraising

Announcement Day - Lawrence, MA - 47108769091 (1)
Elizabeth Warren / CC BY (https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/2.0)

Just days after reports broke, Senator Elizabeth Warren has suspended her campaign for President of the United States. She will not endorse until the primary is over or her delegates are needed in the case of a brokered convention, but if she had to endorse the most likely candidate would be Andrew Yang.

March 27, 2020 - House re-opens impeachment inquiry into President Trump

Donald Trump speaking at Armed Services Ball 01-20-17
U.S. Army Sgt. Kalie Jones / Public domain

Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.), Intelligence Committee Chair Adam Schiff (D-Calif.) and House Oversight Chair Carolyn Maloney (D-New York) have reopened the impeachment inquiry into President Donald Trump. Joe Biden supports impeachment, while Andrew Yang does not, thinking it will divide the nation. But, he said that if solid, indisputable evidence of a crime is found, he will support impeachment.

Quote from: @realDonaldTrump
Nutjob Nancy, Shifty Schiff and Mellow Maloney have reopened the impeachment inquiry into me. NO COLLUSION!
