Since 2000 (bar 2004), the "Democrats" in Loving County have been trolling "their" party in the Democratic primaries.
In 2000, it was only one of two counties to vote for the B-Baller.
In 2004, they voted for the statewide winner just for once, but half of the votes went for joke candidates, mainly for Al Sharpton. Roll Eyes
In 2008, it was one of the few Texan counties won by Obama and, to top it all of, the runner-up wasn't Hillary, but Bill Richardson.
Moreover, four years later Loving County was the only county in the whole nation to switch from Obama to a minor joke candidate (namely Bob Ely) in the primaries.
In 2016, they voted for Bernie, unlike most of the other Texan counties, and it was O'Malley's best county nationwide.

Which candidate do you think are the Loving Democrats going to troll their party with this year?

Likelihood of Loving County voting for Beto if he’s still in the race: 30-50% (a plurality regardless)

Likelihood of Loving County voting for Beto if he’s not still in the race: 100%

How many people voted in the 2016 primary? I'd imagine there are some ancestral dem voters there, so maybe 15 out of like 40 registered?

Wasn't aware of the Loving County phenomenon until this post, but now I'm convinced it'll be Andrew Yang's best county!

Someone write a letter to the county sheriff informing them that Atlas would like to see a straw poll of Democrats.

Has anyone ever met a Loving Texan, or has anyone even been there?

Has a politician, except for BETO, ever campaigned there?

I met a Loving Texan once. One of the best nights of my life.

I wouldn't even be shocked if the poll result was actually the real result.

So much for that. Wonder how he would’ve done in TX if he had been on the ballot.

I went there a couple years ago while en route from Midland to El Paso and stopped off to see what was there. There was nothing.
