Looking pretty bad for Harris. Wonder if she'll last to January if these numbers hold up. Nothing about tied with Tom Steyer in fifth place screams long term viability. Especially given that most paths for her presumably have to go through the South.

A stark contrast here:

White:
Biden 29
Warren 28
Sanders 8
Buttigieg 8

Black:
Biden 45
Sanders 13
Warren 4
Buttigieg *

Happy to see Steyer almost qualifying already. Smiley I'm worried about Castro though. He'll need an awesome next debate in order to make it, and even then it might be too late.

Warren is essentially the white liberal elite candidate & has taken a chunk of college educated liberal voters away from Sanders.

LOL at Kamala not registering among black voters.

She actually does though. She's at 6% which is better than Warren with blacks.

She's only at 1% with whites though.

Unsurprisingly, Biden dominates with black voters. 13% of black voters favor Sanders compared to 4% for Warren. STEYER and Harris are leading Warren in this demographic. Warren just isn't catching on.

*ignores two polls that had her in double digits with black voters nationally and well ahead of Sanders*

Steyer is not ahead of Warren with black voters. LOL.

Warren is going to struggle to get enough delegates if she is at ing 4% among blacks.

I doubt Warren will only get 4% once the field is somewhat smaller (and this is definitely contrary to other polls), but she does need to win more support among black voters. Either way, Biden winning by 21 is about what I'd expect.

Warren is going to struggle to get enough delegates if she is at ing 4% among blacks.

Here are Warren’s #s among black voters in the last round of *national* polls though:

https://uselectionatlas.org/FORUM/index.php?topic=328382.150
HarrisX/ScottRasmussen tracker (weekly #s):
8%

https://uselectionatlas.org/FORUM/index.php?topic=336933.0
Economist/YouGov:
18%

https://uselectionatlas.org/FORUM/index.php?topic=336926.25
Quinnipiac:
19%

https://uselectionatlas.org/FORUM/index.php?topic=336832.0
Emerson:
20%

So even if HarrisX is right, and YouGov, Quinnipiac, and Emerson are all too optimistic for her, that’s still better than the 4% in this poll.  So maybe it’s just black voters in the South with whom she’s struggling this much.  I guess we’ll see, as we get more polls.

The big mistake of Harris, is she said leave Biden along, when asked about Biden. She has failed in every way to becone more , since her dominant debate, that isnt gonna move her polls.

Warren is the only alternative to Biden, as she has done well in IA and there is a hidden female vote in NH. Bermie tied in NV ismt gonna cut it, since he has lost support to Warren

Great poll, South Carolina is Biden Country.

To be completely honest, Kamala should drop out. Even if Uncle Joe had a complete meltdown (very, very unlikely), I don't think she would gain a lot of traction. But as long as he's doing so well with African Americans, she has literally no path. Liz is more likely to cut into black support if she does well/wins the earlier primaries. Probably not enough to come close in South Carolina, but enough to give Uncle Joe a long run.

Overlooked here is how abysmally Warren is doing with non-college voters.

I would assume the college vs. non-college divide in a South Carolina Democratic primary is going to be more correlated with race than it will be in most non-Southern states.  Or in other words, how much of Warren's weakness among non-college grads in this poll is a consequence of weakness with non-whites, as opposed to the other way around?

What's fascinating is that Steyer is now polling 2-3% in the 4 early states without having even appeared in a debate.  That's better than several of the elected congresspeople/governors who have appeared in the debates.

That’s what being a billionaire running for president allows you to do. Carpet the airwaves so that even the most disinterested voter has heard your name. Also helps that Steyer has a huge emailing list.

What will be interesting is how Steyer’s thoughts on impeachment will be accepted at the debate. He seems like someone who means well enough, but whose efforts may backfire on the Dem Party. Granted, over the last two weeks, the Dems have been given a huge opportunity with respect to a “clean impeachment” dealing only with the Ukrainian affair.

Terrible poll for Biden. The Ukraine scandal is taking its toll. Biden was in process of rebuilding trust lost by plagarism scandal of 88 and now this? Its over
