That wasn't much of a defense, Don.

it should also be noted that he didnt really 'choose' massachusetts.
he was living in utah when the mass gop came courting him after jane swift fell out of favor.
romney jumped at the opportunity,

Bah yes he did.  He was living in Utah.  He should have ran in Utah.  Running for office should be about representing your home not getting elected. =(

Then tell Hillary to go back to Arkansas or Illinois and tell Granholm to go back to Vancouver.

And Arnold to Austria?

in fairness, he certainly had more ties to massachusetts than hillary had to ny.

No doubt.  They both suck. =)

Actually, that might be a good idea.

Wasn't her family pretty important in North Carolina?

Granholm lived in Canada until she was 4 years old. This is hardly an apt comparison. It makes about as much sense as saying that Cheney should go back to Nebraska, or Bush to Connecticut.

This subject line angered me, but it is inaccurate.  He never says he "regrets running in Massachusetts," just that he "would have never thought about Massachusetts had [he] anticipated that politics was going to be in [his] future."

I hope the GOP nominates Romney in 2008. A guy who regrets living in his home state would lose easily.

Huckabee and Giuliani would beat Hillary, IMO.
