Way less polls than I would have expected. No fox polls last night. My theory is that a lot of these people don’t want to be wrong.

Many pollsters will wait for final releases either this weekend or Monday.

I feel like we've gotten a pretty big number of polls the past couple of days. Maybe Fox drops some final polls this weekend.

We got many polls but a big chunk of them was from trash pollsters and left a bad taste in the mouth.

They said they had 4 more so I was assuming they would do Fri, Sat, Sun, Mon, unless they are dumping them all at the same time on like Sun or Mon

This is what he said last night: "Next: NYT/Siena final wave, including in Pennsylvania. More on that soon."

Do we actually have confirmation Selzer is coming out tomorrow? I think people have just been guessing.

So Selzer should come out with a poll over the weekend; just got that ping from the DMR on my computer. If Trump and/or Ernst are leading, that will confirm that Iowa is indeed the next Missouri.

Please don't post published poll results in this thread; there's an entire subforum for those.  This thread should be for announcements/discussion of forthcoming polls.

(And I agree with you that NC is looking good for Biden.)

Selzer is the last big poll I'm interested in. Probably the last data point that will shape many of our predictions.

Why is everyone so obsessed with this Selzer poll?

Why is everyone so obsessed with this Selzer poll?

People overestimate the predictive value of a pollster rated A+ on 538 vs a pollster rated B.

Edit: Particularly when you're talking about just one poll. It matters more on an aggregate scale.
