Great news for our 3 Dem incumbents. Scholten can run for Gov or run for Senate in 2022. He is a rising star, even if he loses this yr

I’m assuming Iowa’s presidential numbers will release in about 4 hours from now, the same time they released the past two days. Based on the numbers we’ve already seen, I’m expecting Biden up anywhere from 2 to 5 points.

Trump 44-43 among likely voters. Trump won by 9, so an 8 point swing and a big change since March when Trump led 51-41. Might help Trump that IA is a major producer of soybeans (usually #1 or #2) and is dependent on the dole now because of the disastrous China trade war.

Tossup.

Are the guys at PPP still doing this thing where they ask their followers to choose which state to poll next?

Marist has been oddly silent this year. They were doing a ton of state polling in 2016 and 2018

Republicans got slaughtered in IA in the midterms. Poll numbers showing IA as a tossup should surprise no one.

Same with Minnesota. I don't expect Trump to be leading there, but I am genuinely curious about how the state looks post-Floyd. I doubt it will be much different, but still, at least that would put an end to those who think the state is more competitive because of the demonstrations across the country if a poll does indeed turn out that way.

I've seen nothing about this one way or the other from him on Twitter.
