My Red Bull Salzburg is leading 5-1 right now against some Belgium team in the group stage.

Other opponents in our group will be Napoli (hey Phil !) and Liverpool (the winner of the previous Final).

I refuse to allow a strong Napoli start to get my hopes up. But I will definitely watch Game 6 at Napoli's Philly HQ if I have reason to have a small strand of hope.

2019 Champions League winner Liverpool will face Salzburg.

And I can't watch it, because Pay-TV ... probably will have to find some online stream.

So, Liverpool was up 3-0 after the first half.

But then Salzburg scored 3 in a row and it was 3-3 by minute 60.

Finally, Mo Salah scored the deciding 4-3 for Liverpool.

What a thriller.

The 2nd half was quite unlucky for us, as the keeper had to be replaced because of an injury.

Another close loss (2-3), just like against Liverpool (3-4).

But still a good game against those 2 top clubs in the 1st CL season. And there are still the return games coming up.

Napoli is through to the Round of 16 (currently ahead 3-0 against Genk after halftime).

The thriller game is Salzburg vs. Liverpool right now.

After the 1st half, it's still 0-0.

If Salzburg wins against Liverpool today, they are through as well.

That would be stunning.

Liverpool and Napoli have made the 1/8 final.

Salzburg ends the group stage in third place and Genk 4th.

This group was just too hard to win or to come second. Both Liverpool and Napoli are a level above Salzburg (yet their goal scorers today and best players are former Salzburg players, where they started their careers).

Still a good showing.
