Russian Bear’s unbearably (pun intended) arrogance about how Bernie can’t beat Trump will make his glorious victory over Cheeto Mussolini all the more sweeter

I'm a proud Trump/Paul-Sanders/Tulsi supporter! Kiki

Trump vs Bernie is a dream scenario. If Bernie is the nominee, Trump will 100% leave Afghanistan before the election day. True story!

Is It Bernie’s Party Now?

Quote
“A candidate who will fight for the working class,” said Mike Bizier, 27. “A candidate who has been consistent for 50 years.”

“I never really paid attention to politics,” said Cara Ciminello, 24, with her fiancé, Peter Sughrue, 25, “and then we heard Bernie, and we were, like, ‘He’s actually giving us a voice. He’s actually saying what we want to hear,’ so then we got behind him—and now we won’t stop till he’s in the White House.”

Bernie refuses to join the Democratic Party. How can he lead a party he refuses to join?

Guys don't be celebrating in here. Bernie is not currently winning Iowa. Buttigieg is winning Iowa. I think it is wrong to claim victory when you aren't winning.

I checked out right-wing radio this morning and heard actual direct criticism of Sanders for the first time.

Not "the Democrats are all communists and Bernie Sanders is their leader" stuff, which is the usual "criticism".  Actual oppo research about his early radical socialist views, and a guest claiming he wants to spend $200T.

If you Sanders people think my effortposts on this thread are aggravating wait until the conservatives start going after your guy.  Cause it's already revving up.

You say that as if they wouldn't straight-up manufacture a scandal out of thin air to use against literally any Democrat in the running. It's what the Rethuglicans do.

That's true but attacks are a lot more damaging when they're demonstrably true and the candidate has no good defense to them.

The attack hasn't stuck yet, and I doubt it will coming from the mouths of the party of insane, frivolous spending on bombs, bans, and border walls.

Sounds like you will have to turn all the effort put into your effortposts into effortposts defending the nominee from Republican attacks instead. Or change to a blue avatar, I guess.

An opinion writer from WaPo? Try again. His brand of Jennifer Rubin style pro-establishment Dem conservatism is irrelevant to the majority of conservatives. The nutzo conservatives aren't going to give a crap about this. This is only a scandal to Hillary 2016 /Esablishment Dem supporters.

They will stay outraging at Bernie's honeymoon in the Soviet Union or that hilariously bad sting at a volunteer talking about gulags or something... Things the majority of sane voters could care less about. Try again.

Far be it from me to impugn the political acumen of a... (looks at notes) ... George McGovern policy advisor, but is this person's opinion at all relevant fifty years after he participated in the biggest losing campaign in modern American history?

Someone get John Cox's advisors grandson to tell us how Sanders would lose in a bigger landslide than Cox did against Harding

I guess for Sanders supporters it's a great thing that Trump won in 2016, otherwise Sanders wouldn't have a chance at the presidency. All things have a silver lining for some people.

Given the fact that half the party seems to have become mindless husks over the past 4 years, who only chant "BEAT TRUMP BEAT TRUMP NOTHING ELSE MATTERS ELECTABILITY ELECTABILITY" with no concern for actual policies, views or beliefs, I find it hard to believe that Sanders is somehow having an easier time in a post-Trump climate than he would under neutral conditions.

I don't know why his supporters get so upset when someone says he would lose, because what does it really matter? It's the moral victory of defeating the Democratic establishment that counts.
