Biden - To old, I remember when he ran pre-Obama presidency run and he struggled to get 1% of the vote. Not electable and will definitely lose to Trump. I think the long campaign will slow him down.

Sanders - Soooo 2016, his time is gone and he does remind me of the crazy old loon that every now and then has a point but not enough.

Warren - Hello Pocahontas!!! It will be a train-wreck of a campaign if she is the nominee. The Trump rallies, the jokes taking the mickey out of Pocahontas it will be socialism and bottom line is shes from Massachuetts the state that bought kennedy, Kerry etc etc the same old story that never plays well middle of America. She would be a disaster in places like Ohio, Florida, Iowa, Minnesota, North Carolina.

Gabbard - I love her and she's my second choice. She speaks sense and she's a democrat I'd knock on doors for all day long. She's a republicans nightmare.

Klobachar is for me the most electable candidate against Donald Trump. She's the candidate every democrat in tight congressional districts wants on the ballot. She can de-fuse Trump. She will be hard to attack from the republican right. It's a far stretch to call her a crazy liberal. Fox news will find it difficult to go after her but they will but middle America/surburban America she's the right person. The best candidate by a mile. All the political pundits know it. She's not loud, she doesn't rant and rave but she gets bills and laws passed.

With the democratic machine and money once she has the nomination behind her she can pick up the votes of small town suburban America. Biden, Warren and Sanders are to much of a risk and candidates at the bottom of the ticket in marginal congressional districts will struggle.

It's a scientifically proven fact that an Atlas poster's personal feelings about a candidate is the best indicator of their electability.

I am asking this of everyone who supports Gabbard on this forum.  Why do you like Gabbard so much.  She has zero noteworthy accomplishments and doesn't have any unique policy other than her "let's surrender the world to Russia" foreign policy.  Is it really just the anti-establishment thing?  Or do you just spend a lot of time in alt-right circles on YouTube and Twitter and get inundated with positive coverage of her?

OP only makes sense if you buy into the brainwashed "WE MUST MOVE RIGHT AT ALL COSTS BECAUSE TRUMP WON" centrist drivel that started showing itself immediately after the election, in which more than not, it was the progressive base that stayed home.

Gabbard gets it completely that the middle east is a total waste of time.
The biggest international threat is not Afghanistan, Iran or any middle east country.

The biggest international threat is China. A communist rich country obtaining strategic countries all over the world with international infrastructure projects that are unsustainable to pay for which ends up with the country giving land to china. China is the biggest threat and countries like Australia and New Zealand are constantly under attack.

The stuff with Hong Kong has been going on for years. China agreed with the British that they would allow Hong Kong to be independent. China is participating in ethnic cleansing but because they are economically rich all the rich countries in the world are turning a blind eye to it like Saudi Arabia.

China will soon be to big to fail or attack like Saudi Arabia yet this country continues to burn money in endless culture wars in Afghanistan Iraq etc.

There are zero presidential candidates proposing new military action in the middle east.  Tulsi isn't unique on that.

I agree that Klobuchar would make a good President. She is not my first pick, but I would feel that you can't go wrong with her. She seems to want to have everyone's back. I like that in a President. We have forgotten what it's like....

When Amy was first elected in Minnesota - the progressives wanted to kick her out of the democratic party and primary her based on her voting record. The progressives who back the likes of Warren and Sanders felt she was no better than having a republican in washington instead of her.

The progressives felt that she didn't represent them yet she gets 60% of the vote and most other democrats in the state struggle to break 50% statewide.

I think Amy/Sherrod Brown would be a great democratic ticket.

Huh As someone living in Minnesota at the time, I am baffled. Amy has always been very popular within the DFL in Minnesota.

Klobuchar was the flavor of the mnth when she entered, then Harris was and now Warren is. Klobuchar would only risen if Harris didnt rise and peaked out too early. Now, the Harris coalition is backing Warren.

Yes, Trump doesnt even mention Bernie as his opponent, both Sanders and Biden are like Jeb, low energy, that why, instead of calling Joe low energy, he calls him sleepy. I hope Biden loses, so Rendell can be so wrong again. He was wrong about Hilary beating Trump in 2016, particularly in his homestate of Pa

But the problem with Amy is that she is as boring as Biden.

Who wants to come out to vote for "boring"?

While I believe warren has easily the highest chance of losing out of the major candidates, even I would not act as of her defeat is a sure thing
