Europe has decided to form a parliament, and there will be new elections in 2020. The contesting political parties are

Alliance for Peace and Freedom (neo-nazism)
Alliance to European National Movements (far-right / russophilia)
Identity and Democratic Party (national conservative, ultranationalist)
Europeans United for Democracy (conservative nationalists, ultranationalist)

European Party for Individual Rights (libertarian)
European Conservatives (conservatives, conservative liberal)
European Christian Political Movement (religious right)
European People's Party (christian democracy)
European Democratic Party (liberals)
Renew Europe (center-right liberals)

Five Star Movement (populism)
European Pirate Party (pirate politics)
Europe-Democracy-Esperanto (esperantism)
Progressive Alliance of Socialists and Democrats (social democracy)
European Free Alliance (left-wing liberals)
European Greens (green politics)
Democracy in Europe Movement 2025 (democratic socialism)
Nordic Green Left (democratic socialism, green politics)
Maintenant Le Peuple (democratic socialism)
Euro Animal 7 (animal rights party)
Party of the European left (socialism)

European Anti-Capitalist Left (anticapitalism)
Initiative of Communist and Workers' Parties (communism)

For simplicity, during the first election, the parties agreed to form a left bloc and a right bloc. The far-right also went in a joint coalition.

Parties in red bold join the Left Bloc while parties in blue bold join the Right Bloc. Parties in Maroon form the newly Communist Party while parties in Black form the Identity and Democracy group.

This is the map for the 2019 elections. Every parliamentary election will be held in four years, and uses the system of electoral vote and determine the number of house seats. Every presidential election takes place in four years, while senate elections take place in 2022, 2026 and 2030 and are now appointed by the current parliamentary winners. Wallonia, Catalonia and Scotland were declared independent states inside the European Union.

(norway shouldn't be coloured)

During this election, the electoral voting system was applied
Identity and Democracy Group - 11,4% (67 seats)
Left Bloc - 35,2% 14 (204 seats)
Right Bloc - 53,0% (480 seats)
Communist Party of Europe - 0,4% (0 seats)

Those were the first elections. The right takes an absolute majority and decides to govern together, with their seats proportioned between the amount of their coalition partners had. In that process, libertarians and religious right were left out). So we have a comfortable majority between liberals, christian democrats & conservatives.

Nicolas Dupont-Aignan announces candidacy for European President

Nicolas Dupont-Aignan with his more moderate stance announced, and was endorsed by Brexit Party and AfD, and his own party, and other minor parties

Jimmie Åkesson announces candidacy for European President

Akesson from Swedish Democrats announced, and was endorsed by right-wing populist parties in mostly Scandinavia.

Martine Le Pen announces candidacy for European president

Le Pen announced and was endorsed by FN/RN, Vlaams Belang, PP and the PVV, and other minor parties

Matteo Salvini announces candidacy for European president

Salvini announced, and was endorsed by Vox, FvD, Lega and the FPO, and other minor parties

Nikolaos Michaloliakos announces candidacy for European President

Nikolaos Michaloliakos from Golden Dawn announced, and was endorsed by far-right parties in Greece and Cyprus

Marian Kotleba announces candidacy for European President

Kotleba from the Slovak National Party announced his candidacy and was endorsed by far-right organizations in Eastern Europe immediately.

In the right-wing primaries, we've seen that the candidates mostly had regional appeal.

In terms of delegates:
Nicolas Dupont-Aignan - 186
Matteo Salvini - 172
Martin Kotleba - 172
Marine Le Pen - 121
Nikolaos Michaloliakos - 27

Michaloliakos announced he throw his delegates to Kotleba, while Le Pen announced she threw her delegates to Salvini making the count in the contested convention

Matteo Salvini - 293
Martin Kotleba - 199
Nicolas Dupont-Aignan - 186

Dupont-Aignan refuses to give the support to Salvini, and so there will be a contested convention for the far-right.
