What would happen if Biden dropped out and endorsed any of Bernie/Warren/Harris/Buttigieg/...Delaney, etc? Would those candidates have a much greater chance of winning, or does Biden's endorsement not matter much?

It depends on the person he supports.

Warren would become the immediate overwhelming frontrunner.
Buttigieg would hit double-digits as the establishment moderate choice. It would give him much needed credibility.
Harris or Booker would get a boost, although I'm not sure how relevant it is because their failures to stay in double-digits are due to factors that won't change with a Biden endorsement.

Yeah, Biden's endorsement wins. He has the Cult of Trump sort of thing going on atp.

Harris would seriously stand to benefit the most from such a thing.

C'mon, let you, me, and Mitt Romney all say it together at the same time:
Endorsements are not worth a thimble of spit.

Sanders would benefit due to fact Blacks also like Bernie as well. So, does Tulsi Gabbard. Also, Biden is closely aligned with Israel and the Olmert regine and Bernie, who is Jewish too.

This isn't exactly answering the question, but Biden needs to drop out, period.

Only his BIG ego is keeping him up there, running. He does NOT deserve to win. He is not in control of all his mental faculties. And at his age, this situation is not going to get better. All of his abilities are slowing down and are no match for the Presidency.

He and also Bernie need to drop out, period. Let the younger smarter ones lead from here.

Please.

He, Sanders, AND Warren need to drop out. All three, not just one or two

I can not imagine Biden endorsing Bernie in the primary.

Biden is not going to drop out. Nobody who’s still leading in both primary and general election polls by significant margins — and therefore is the nominal frontrunner for the presidency — is going to drop out. That would be insane.

This absurd idea being spread around certain circles today — I also saw it on reddit — that Biden should or would drop out betrays a cringeworthy level of ignorance about politics. Or just plain wishful thinking.

None of them should drop out (except maybe Bernie, who has basically no viable path to the nomination and has already lost most all but his diehard base, but I’m biased) as they are the three clear frontrunners. That’s insane.

But, Warren is both significantly younger and comes off as significantly sharper than the other two. She’s younger than Trump and is about the same age he and Reagan were when they won. There’s a big difference between about 70 and about 80. So the idea that she should drop out over age is even more insane. Never mind she’s also the one consistently rising the most.
