Oh boy Trump might actually get a second chance, and if polls stay the same here through the entire election season -I know it won't but for now, I'm going to pretend-, he will actually get the popular vote

I think what could have been a interesting idea was have Trump run third party in 2020, maybe pick up a few states, and the house election would have been decided between three candidates, or have Pence get elected outright by Trump attracting both sides relatively equally instead of just one or the other, but maybe a slightly larger portion from Hillary by people who were thinking "We made a mistake voting for her the first time, we now think you were the better choice after all, and this is our chance to do things right".
