So, in reality, he's probably losing by around 10 and losing the primary as well.

There's more than enough Trump lovers in this state to carry Lewandowski over the finish line in the R Primary too.

I'm sure Shaheen is loving how things are shaping up.

Lewandowski would be an unmitigated disaster but allow me to be skeptical that an unknown like Bolduc would be so strong this early in the cycle. It's clear they are trying to prop him up to avoid a Corey Stewart-like debacle.

Likely D, and the GOP has blown yet another winnable race, sigh

NH Sen is not a winnable race. Shaheen survived the 2014 red wave, dude.

Scott Brown was hardly an A lister in 2014. His blatant carpet bagging hurt a non-negligible amount

Many people who live in NH comes from MA or even works in MA, I doubt it hurt that much.

This was the swing map from 2008 -> 2014. It definitely hurt him. I'm not buying that Shaheen would've improved by a non negligible amount in the rural North against a non carpetbagger, particularly since the benchmark is 2008 of all years.

Don't feel bad, it isn't as if you're a republican at all. You'd probably rather vote for Stalin than Trump.

What kind of internal poll has you down by 5 points? And why would anyone leak such a poll? Ridiculous.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Statewide_opinion_polling_for_the_2016_United_States_presidential_election

Reminder that Remington UNDERESTIMATED Trump support in many of these states, though to be fair they also underestimated Hillary supported in some as well.

The bottom line is...this race is winnable for the GOP, and that's all I care about for now.

Unless 2020 turns out to be the next 1984, the only real net pickup opportunity for Republicans will be in Michigan...at least at this point.
