Private charity will always exist to help the poor. Currently, most private universities offer financial aid to those who cannot afford a good education. There is no reason to believe that private schools will behave any differently.

What an absurd comment, Emsworth!  Private charity is not only offensive, it is a drop in the bucket - wholely inadequate rectify inequality (almost by definition).
