In other words, what are all of the possible scenarios you can think of which result in a different outcome with the current (2010) map vs. projections for 2024 and beyond?

Something like this could potentially turn into a Republican win?

If Democrats succeed in making Texas a presidential swing state during the 2020's, there a lot of close GOP win scenarios today that would turn into a Dem win after reapportionment.  Notably, this map likely becomes a Dem win in 2024 or 28:
