5. Curtailing the Powers of the Regional Executive
6. Curtailing the Powers of the Regional Legislature by restoring the voice of the People in Southern Government through Initiative, Referendums and Effective Recall Processes
7. Require all candidates to create a public campaign thread to declare for Southern Office
8. Require at least two posts per week for each week of the campaign declared, or five posts minimum, whichever is greater to be eligible for election.
9. Fostering a Regionally Focused Press
10. Promoting Civic Engagement, Participation and Integration into AFE Board based private sector activities and organizations.


Membership:
Anyone is welcomed to join, regardless of Federal Party, who shares the above principles or is at least open to the ideas if not the specific prescriptions (like say the exact post requirements for candidates).

The SUP applauds the Supreme Court for its ruling. This marks a first great victory over the forces of discordification as well as the victory of our great union over those who would tear it apart, even unto the extra-constitutional means that have been deployed.

Today was a victory for the constitution, for equality before the law as well as a triumph for the cause of unionism. While celebration is in order, we have much work that lay ahead, in implementing our robust reform agenda, which will return power in the South back where it belongs. With the people!

We also note that this ruling has exposed a structural flaw in the present wording of the secession clause, one that I anticipate will be removed by Monday. To that end, I urge all people of unionist principles to go out and vote in favor of the constitutional amendment presently at vote before the regions, which will by default fix this problem since that portion would be removed from the constitution if it is ratified.
