And now, an important announcement. 

I'll spare you the usual hyperbole, and make this short.  It is campaign season once again; I have decided to seek the Federalist Party's endorsement for federal House.  If elected, I promise to bring positive change to our halls of power.  This means supporting policies that are rooted in common sense. 

My "common sense platform" includes:

- Lower taxes and regulatory fees
- Encouraging small business growth (instead of hindering it)
- Responsible federal budgets
- Innovation/education in science & technology
- A strong national defense (with a responsible foreign policy)
- Protection of basic civil rights

I hope you will consider casting your vote for me in the upcoming election.  Let's get to work restoring common sense to Atlasia.

LOL...."FairBol" is a combination screen name, made up of part of my hometown's name and part of my last name.

I'll say this for now....defeat can be a disappointing and soul-crushing thing, especially when you expect to do better than you did.  However, as Richard Nixon once said, it is "only when you have been in the deepest valley can you know how magnificent it is to stand on the highest mountain". 

I gave it a good shot, but ultimately came up short.  The journey continues...."on to the next one" (Jay-Z)
