I see you're completely insane.

Wilson is closer to the Republicans today than Roosevelt. The difference between don and me is that I actually believe in the principles of our party, which do not include destroying the Constitution.

The princiles of our Party, would that iclude your negative PC score on social issues?

LOL. Anyone who thinks lack of socialized health care is exploitation is a fool.

Those would clearly be unconstitutional at the federal level. The term 'reactionary' appears to be a close synonym for 'intelligent' to you.

Well, in that case, any enacted progressive legislation re-socialised healthcare and morally acceptable labour laws at the state level as opposed to the federal level would suit

I never actually equated a lack of socialised healthcare with exploitation; however, morally reprehensible labour laws can be most certainly equated with exploitation. Healthcare, nevertheless, is a basic human right. Not that some on the political right would agree

What's the point to restraining the majority with a set of rules, if the majority gets to decide what the rules are?

Yes, I think you'd be a great fit in the Libertarian Party.

I would definitely have voted for Woodrow Wilson.

The Progressive plank relating to overturning Supreme Court decisions is, to put it mildly, utterly disgusting. The notion that legal questions should be submitted to the masses is quite unsettling. In the words of Hugo "The layman's constitutional view is that what he likes is constitutional and that which he doesn't like is unconstitutional." The Constitution would become meaningless, and limited government would be replaced by mobocracy.

The economic totalitarianism espoused by the Progressives makes Roosevelt an even worse candidate.

I would have voted for Taft.  He wasn't as awful as many think, though I might have a subconscious bias, seeing as how he was later the Chief Justice.

Yeah, 10 people want to destroy the Constitution. This forum has some weird ideas.

1860, 1960, 1968 and 1948 could all be interesting

1860 -- lackluster campaign

The others I don't have much info on

With hindsight:

Taft

Teddy was insane.
