Ill take it your not a fan of Bloomberg, Phil?

Let's see....

There was one point where I said I'd actually strongly consider voting for the Dem nominee over Bloomberg if I lived in NYC. This was back in the summer and we didn't know who would get the nomination yet. I later realized that that was not a good idea since, as dazzleman pointed out, the NYC Dems are much worse than Bloomberg. Still, I really dislike the guy and while I supported him over that clown Ferrer, I wouldn't have voted for him if I lived in the city. I'll admit that he's doing a good job but the man annoys me too much. It's unnecessary stuff like coming out against John Roberts that gets on my nerves. He wasn't satisfied getting the liberal vote. He had to start courting the far left wingers.

If I lived in NYC I would have either skipped the Mayoral race when voting or voted for the Conservative party candidate (Tom Ognibene).

Remember that Bloomberg's approval ratings were on par with Bob Taft's a year or so ago...not all of it was unnecessary.

I remember those days. I thought he'd surely lose but that doesn't excuse his comments about a Supreme Court nominee. Plus, the nomination was at a time when his ratings were very high and he was only worried if he'd break 55% or not.

With that kind of money he could just have bribed the voters instead of bothering with campaigns and stuff. Tongue

Isn't it as much as Bush/Kerry spent?

I believe they both, respectively, spent in the hundreds of millions.
