ANNOUNCEMENT REGARDING CABINET APPOINTMENTS:

Hello everybody! As our first act of business, I want to open the process of cabinet applications to all. Regardless of intent to retain or enlist the services of new cabinet officials, I am asking all existing and prospective cabinet appointees to submit their intent to serve in the upcoming administration via Atlas PM.

There is no formal application: merely demonstrate to me via PM why you would be best suited for the position in question, and we'll take it from there.

The following cabinet positions include:

• Secretary of State
• Secretary of Internal Affairs
• Attorney General
• Forum Coordinator
• Secretary of Federal Elections
• Registrar General
• Game Moderator
• Deputy GM (x2)

Various council and committee positions will be handled separately if the councils/committees in question are retained, and most will be handled after inauguration.

NOTICE FOR COMMITTEE VOLUNTEERS

The administration is currently seeking volunteers to serve on an as-needed basis for the following committees:

• Budget Committee
• Infrastructure Committee
• Resolution Review Committee*
• Space Committee

Each of these committees will be of a manageable size (~5 people), so volunteers will be expected to do the work and contribute their fair share. This will also provide each committee member with the satisfaction of knowing that they are contributing meaningfully to reform and progress within the game!

I would be honored to serve on the National Security Council. I have previous council experience from my service on the Domestic Policy Council under the Tmth Administration, where I believe I was an asset. As someone who has (arguably) been on both sides of the political aisle over my 5 years in this game, I believe I have been exposed to the wide variety of views on foreign policy in this game and can weigh such views appropriately during discussions. Finally, as a Dove by nature who believes that defense spending cuts should always be on the table, I believe this to be an appropriate post from where I can ensure that defense is not given a free pass as we continue to work to eliminate our deficit.
