I can extend the turn by 24 hours if people do not think they’ll be able to get it in in time.

My computer is unfortunately in the shop, so it seems unlikely I’ll have the time to finish my turn by tomorrow. Any chance I could get until midweek? Very sorry for the inconvenience.

Do you think Wednesday night would work?

That should be excellent. Thanks for the flexibility.

Glad to be able to help. With this being the last turn, I want to make sure everyone can get their stuff in.

Fascinating exit poll! Is it alright if we post reactions or interviews as the results come in?

Absolutely! I'd be sad if you guys didn't!

Thank you, everyone, for your support and your efforts. The election is now over. Please use the campaign thread to post IG reactions to the results. Interviews, tweets, press statements, etc. are all more than welcome.

We will now enter the Government formation phase of the game. Legally, the Conservatives have the first shot at forming a Government. This should be done via PM and then declared in the soon-to-be-posted Westminster Thread. If the Tories cannot find a Government, then it will fall to Labour. Again, the discussions and negotiations should be via PM but the final formation of any deal, or lack thereof, should be done in the Westminister thread. Please include me in all PMs. If I'm not in a PM, it is invalid.

If and when a Government is formed, we will have to have a discussion on what we want to do. The options, as I see them, are thus:

1. Play out the next Government, with legislation and voting and intrigue, until the time of the next election.
2. Form a Government but then take a break for a few months until we have the next election.
3. Form a Government but then do nothing else and let the election stand as its own game.

Great work DKrol, and thanks for your patience this week.

Any chance that we could see overall popular vote totals for the election?

I don’t have those numbers prepared. It would take me some time to get them together.

Would anyone be interested in making a map for the election, coloring the regions based on the winner?

I hope not. We're waiting to see how coalition negotiations go, I believe.

The coalition needs to be announced publically in the Westminster Thread for the game to continue.

The next step is for the Prime Minister-designate to develop a Queen's Speech. This can be as simple as a bullet-point list of five to ten key promises and pledges that the Government will pursue. Once this is posted, we will have a debate, followed by a vote, on the Queen's Speech. If the Speech passes, Darling will be Prime Minister. If not, we go back to the drawing board.

Dkrol Sir,

I have confirmed with DevoutCentrist that I may rejoin as a member of a potential labour cabinet, with your approval could I get said approval, so I can get deeper into the search for said character.

Sure!

I was hoping to have David Cameron and the Tories and Anna Soubry and ChangeUK respond to the Speech before initiating the vote.

Sorry guys! I'm still interested. Just got my laptop back after a 5 week hiatus.

I can post my response this weekend.

Then let’s rock and roll and see if we can keep this baby going!
