About two hours to go. We're missing a few orders but I'm glad with how things have come in in the last 12 hours or so.

The turn is closed. The only player we missed this turn were the LibDems. I'll begin processing the turn tonight but I do not expect I'll be able to have the next turn up until Sunday night, as I'm taking a day trip this weekend.

I took some time to see how a potential Government could be formed under this projection. It's tough.

There are 253 seats on the right (Conservatives + BFP + UUP + TUV) and 299 on the left (Labour + Liberal Democrats + Greens + SNP + Plaid + SDLP). That leaves both sides well short of even a working majority, accounting for the abstentionism of Sinn Fein and the independence of the Speaker and his/her deputies, if the Government is built along left-right lines.

Change UK, with a projected 89 MPs, could support either the left, in Government with a comfortable 388 MPs, or the right, with 342 MPs.

Exciting stuff in the game, making the last half of the campaign really matter. It could go either way at this point.

About five hours to go. We're just missing Lumine, at this point.

Good turns for many of you!

JacksonHitchcock, you seem to just be recycling old schedules for new turns, making minor changes, if any at all. This is going to hurt you, and I advise not to do so again for the next turn.

This was accudential, I use a word document to save all of my schedules and I work on them in day to day blocks so the last couple times I've been pasting in the wrong blocks it looks like. Promise it won't happen again and the penalty seems perfectly fair.

I noticed a few of your days for the last turn were duplicates, but I wrote it off as an effort to drive home the same messages.

The polls should be up by Wednesday. There is a debate next turn, so I may need an extra day to get the debate questions up. We're in the home stretch!

It's taking me a bit longer than expected to process the turn. I am working at it, though!

Lord Buckethead will make a surprise appearance at a leader's count in the Election Night thread.

A little later than planned, but the debate is up! The turn will last for five days from now and end at 11:59 PM on Friday, August 9. Have fun!

Where is the debate taking place and by what network?

I hadn’t thought about this. Let say it’s in Manchester and on BBC.

A bit confused (and late in the campaign to be asking this question). Did the first referendum on Scottish independence happen? Your description says the referendum bill passed, but doesn't specify whether the SNP's amendment was approved.

I was under the assumption it didn't happen and have been campaigning with that assumption, just want to clarify.

Thanks.

Correct, it did not happen. There was a question about this earlier in the game, and I did post a clarification in this thread that it did not happen. May's Government rejected it.

I know my answers were a bit late, will they still count?

Yes.

I'm going to have to stop playing as the WiFi at school is much worse then I thought it would be.

Sorry to see you go.

Players, we have a problem. I’m not sure the game can progress without a Labour player two weeks before the election. Anyone who is interested, please let me know ASAP so we can get you in as Labour and keep the game moving.

Does anyone have an idea of how to go forward? I've reached out to a few people I thought may be interested, but either haven't heard back or received a "no".

Would any current player like to take on Labour for the final two turns?
