Trump will likely win Ky by more than 20 points, I mean even Romney won KY by 23, in 2020 I would be very surprised if Trump wins KY by less than 25

I could definitely see this being a state where Warren or Buttigieg perform particularly poorly.

How about modifying the thread title to indicate that it's just KY?

Don’t laugh, but Biden said today that he will carry SC against Trump. And it’s not a joke

I doubt that would happen with Pence.  But getting the Republicans back to a moderate-conservative type (don't know who that is these days) will make them competitive in Fairfax County again.

Big whoop, Trump is ahead in a solid red state that everyone knows he is going to win.

Big Whoop? This would be a long thread about how Trump is going to lose in 2020 if this were a poll taken of Illinois, Maryland, etc. This poll is important because at this moment we can see in a head to head matchup Trump is hovering between 20% - 32% right now.

In 2016 the state went 63-33 for Trump. At the moment Trump is seeing a mild dip from his 2016 performance, some of this you can see from his national approval rating which is down a few points than the popular vote total he had in 2016. Not to mention not everyone is decided either. #objective

Almost 3 million votes is simple?

I believe he said he "intends" to win it, not that he will. he also mentioned current polls, and given his huge lead against Trump at the moment, it would make sense to contest South Carolina... of course it will make no sense once the campaign is actually underway and it becomes clear the election is going to be close.

The trees that supporters of the Electoral College think should have more voting power than people?

So, Donald Trump is dominating in a highly White, Evangelical Christian, low college graduate rate state? I'm SHOCKED.

Not my problem the people put themselves in certain states rather than others.

But, but Warren is a populist...

No wait, she's a woman.  Yeah, she'd do worse in Kentucky than a typical Democrat.
