Unless something goes horribly wrong for Trump before the next election (a major scandal/recession), he’s probably favored to win in 2020 (>50%). The democratic field isn’t particularly strong, and a democratic candidate with a terrible record and prone to gaffes (*cough* Biden) may very well crumble. If that’s the case, 2024 would be almost certainly be a Democratic victory (<10% chance a Republican wins).
If a Democrat manages to win in 2020, it’ll depend on how their term goes.
