Given how Ron DeSantis and Mike Braun were manufactured Trump, it would not be surprising if this massively boosted her standing among lay GOP voters for 2020.
Thankfully, SC-gub isn't up until 2022, and by then Trumpism will have vanished from the GOP creed again, as if it had never happened.

Steve Womack? Tom Cotton? Mark Martin? Any of the Hutchinson Gang?

Tim Griffin literally put up a bust *just outside his office* of the recently deceased, unanimous popular Win Rockefeller outside his office, to compare himself to the most popular politician in recent memory.

SHS would be a pretty good candidate, but the Huckabee name doesn’t have too much sway over the state GOP. The youngest members of their large network in the state are in their sixties. Asa will pick his successor when he wants to, and he will decide if she should run or not.
