I know that, with the exception of 2000, the winner won with all ages. However, I’m curious as to what extend they won by with each age group.

Why did Dems do so well with seniors during this time? It can’t all be because of lingering memories of the Great Depression, can it?

It particularly astounds me to see the level of success Bill Clinton had with the GI generation, despite running against prominent WWII veterans both times!
A possible factor is that Reagan, HW, and Dole had all opposed Medicare.
