I don't think Hillary lost any meaningful amount of votes from picking Kaine, but she didn't gain any meaningful amount either, outside of Virginia where Kaine may have bolstered her margin slightly.

He helped shore up places like Virginia by making her look like the safe, moderate choice. She still would have won there, of course, but it would have been a little closer. Point is, he was there to put a lock on the suburbs.

He might've helped her in Virginia. When it came to election day, 99.5% of her voters nationwide probably didn't even remember who the VP choice was.

Yeah, Hillary would have won WV if not for their long running hatred of Eastern Virginia.

It's possible she could have won the election with, say, Sherrod Brown on the ticket given how close PA/MI/WI were, but Kaine certainly didn't lose the election for her.  He just didn't do anything obvious to help.

Possibly. Had she chosen someone of color, she could have spiked turnout in Philadelphia, Detroit, and Milwaukee and won.

She could have picked better.  Sherrod Brown would have been a better pick.  Gary Peters would have been a better pick.

It’s a shame your seemingly above average intellect is devoted to this type of posting.

Kaine didn't offer much of anything. He was a very neutral pick in every way. He didn't hurt her.

Maybe one day DINGO Joe use powers for good instead of bad.

He was pretty useless.

For a guy with a Harvard Law degree to allow Mike Pence to come out of that debate unscathed is pretty embarrassing.

No, but he didn’t gain her moderate votes or progressive votes, either one of which might have won her the election.
