Who is the last Republican to win the city of Los Angeles in either a Presidential, Gubernatorial or Senatorial Race

How did Pete Wilson do in 1982, 1988, 1990 & 1994 ?

He lost LAC in 1982 and 1990 and barely won it in 1988 an 1994.

So the Suburbs of LA had such a large proportion of LA County even then cause Reagan winning LA County by 15 points without winning LA would mean that

Los Angeles County has always had more than the city. In 1950 the county had 4.1m people but the city had 1.9m. Today the county has 10 million and the city has 4 million. There are dozens and dozens of smaller cities around LA.
