B&W biggest party, no overall majority

But did not B&W under-perform exit polls back in April.  I would read any B&W tied with Likud as a Likud lead

Kan 11 looks an outlier
but if B&W is bigger and no 61 recommendation Gantz might get a mandate to form a government

Bibi won't be prime minister if Rivlin gives Gantz the first crack at forming a coalition, which these numbers mean he will

This even better than I could have expected. I just hope the exits aren't wildly off.

Very likely that we end up with a one seat difference in the end if the trajectory from the past remains true. Thats not big enough for Bibi to get the initiative, without his right wing majority, or a large lead. If Lieberman recommends Gantz, things are going to get interesting.

I suppose Bibi will have more recommendations. so it is a difficult question. Rivlin might force a unity government like Herzog in 84

How? Liberman and the Arabs will recommend Gantz. Gantz has 65 votes, dude. Bibi lost.

Liberman and the Arabs are clearly goibg to recommend Gantz, who has 65 votes. Bibi actually lost.

Liberman to push for secular-right government (Likud/B&W/YB), I assume led by someone other than Bibi

If these exit polls hold then it is not clear who will win but it is clear that Netanyahu most likely lost

No. But they don't need to. The opposition all made statements before the election that they don't want Bibi, except Lieb, who can take a bibi led Grand coalition. But since B&W doesn't want Bibi, he can be assumed to be on their side, for now. On the opposition side, there are two desired govts: a left govt and a Grand Coalition. But they all have getting rid of bibi ahead of those desires, so Gantz gets their recommendation to form govt, even though he may not get all their votes in the end as he trades those votes for others.

Liberman recommends Gabtz. Gantz lights Likud on fire. And his and Liberman's secular unity government is forned.

Otzma Yehudit is gevalt-ing after the fact about Bibi "making a leftist government with Gantz". This is delightful.

Why would they keep Bibi at the top?

People are missing the big story here, which is that Netanyahu's immunity bill is dead and he is now dead weight for his party.

HE LOST.

I get the peculiar feeling, after reading up on Leib yesterday, he wants to light Likud on fire and then become king of the ashes. His goal is likely to step into the secular-right void partially abandoned by Likud, and then thrown into chaos following the poll - a void which a good 25% of Israelis probably occupy.

The entire election panel on Channel 13 is delirious right now. This is fun to watch.
