Somewhat of an effort post coming:

Alexandria Ocasio Cortez should run for Governor of New York

She already meets the constitutional requirements since she’s over 30 and has lived in the state long enough.

She clearly has ambitions for higher office and potentially the presidency. What offices are there that are higher than US Representative and position one for their next step to be the presidency? Senate and Governor. Kirsten Gillibramd is one of the two senators, and she’s young and doesn’t seem to be going anywhere anytime soon. The other senator, Chuck Schumer, is the Majority Leader and also not going anywhere anytime soon. Cuomo, however, is as weak as he’s ever been and far more vulnerable to a primary challenge. The primary ads for a young woman running against a man accused of sexual assault write themselves.

Unlike any other potential primary challengers, Ocasio is already well known statewide and could probably get any other progressive challengers to Cuomo to drop out and endorse her the moment she announces her candidacy. Her platform could be the standard progressive agenda, plus transparency and ethics reform in Albany.

She’s also got a big enough following that any silencing tactics from Cuomo would be less likely to work and more likely to backfire. The other candidates thinking of running look like people Cuomo can just ignore. He can’t ignore Ocasio or he will lose.

Going from US representative to governor is not an unprecedented move, either. Mike Pence did it, and so did others.

Last point: What would be a better platform for Ocasio to run for President than implementing progressive policies in one of the most populated states in the country? She could also still run for the Senate later of one of the seats opens up.

She should not run.....she would lose to Weik or Dean or Harry Wilson.....

She's not losing to a GOPer, lol. But I agree gov is not where she belongs at this moment. But Mr. Cuomo needs to go as soon as possible. The dude is horrible.
Why though? Why is it not where she belongs?

This guy should go to prison. Forget resigning, what he did to those nursing home patients is impeachable, and the coverup is criminal.

Wow:

"I am not part of the political club" So if serving as Governor for more than a decade, serving as Attorney General of that state, serving as HUD Secretary, and having your father serve as Governor of the same state for 12 years doesn't make you part of the "political club," I honestly don't know what does.
Being well liked and accepted by the other members of the club would be a start.

Assuming Cuomo was impeached instead of resigning, what would be the impeachable offence against him?

From a quick look at the allegations, I am not sure if the allegations of sexual harrassment qualify as a crime? (as opposed to say, rape, which is 100% a crime). I have no idea where the line gets drawn for sexual harrassment in legal terms, it could also be that sexual harrassment simply doesn't get prosecuted enough or that I am wrongly understanding the accusations, but being a creep is not illegal? The covid scandal could be the one though.

He definitely should resign though
Abuse of power and obstruction of justice, both regarding the coverup of the nursing home situation.

At this point, Cuomo could go the route of Blago: Get impeached and later to prison. If I remember correctly, Blago was even convicted unanimously by the Illinois senate.
He was.

The same heart that told him it was ok to sexually harass multiple women?
More importantly, the same heart that told him it was OK to force nursing homes to take COVID-19 patients and then cover up all the deaths of old people that he caused?
