Following matthew’s comments, I think that we should exclude him from the convention

The irony of being for right to life but against someone that fights for decreasing the murder rate and wishes for more people to continue to live to a rip old age in peace. I had considered a heart beat bill limiting abortion to 6 weeks and adding punishments for the providers of abortion at the regional level in the south a few weeks ago...Of course, I was told not to but I had it written up.

Atlasian Right to Life is dedicated to defending the right to life for all Atlasians from conception until natural death. We believe that in order to best protect that right to life, there must be severe restrictions on abortions in Atlasia. We believe that all abortion must be banned except in cases where the life of the mother is threatened.

But defending life goes far beyond banning abortion. We call for the funding of crisis pregnancy centers to ensure that women faced with an unplanned pregnancy have the resources needed to support themselves and their child. We also believe in reforming the adoption and foster care systems so that children end up with loving homes and families.

Atlasian Right to Life also believes that the death penalty is wrong because the taking of any life is inherently immoral. Along those same lines, we believe that suicide, whether it be assisted or not, ought to be illegal and prevented by any means necessary.

Atlasian Right to Life believes that to ensure a positive future for our children, we must first ensure a future for them at all.

(Note, if this is not ratified, we will need to have a 24 hour period for people to introduce amendments, at the end of that period, we will hold a vote on each amendment (requiring a simple majority), and then on the modified platform (requiring a two-thirds majority, so if you have reservations about the platform, feel free to post why, below your vote)

I don't like the idea of not having exceptions for rape and incest. Also Section 3 seems a little impractical, as making suicide illegal won't work, instead there needs to be crack down of harrassment, bullying, and other such things.
