1 hour away from poll closing and NYT doesn't have their results page up....

Yeah, what's going on?

Republican Election Fraud

This is in Ohio.

Haha, sorry.

Ohio borders Kentucky.  That should count for something. Wink

You can't just simply assume that every Voter from Louisville & Lexington will vote Democratic. I got a feel Zaybay might get disappointed again tonight like he was in 2018 with the Senate Races.

I think Bevin is going to win this race. Im just posting turnout numbers from Jones, nothing more.

Hearing reports of tornadoes, angry great white sharks, riots, and hurricanes in Louisville and Lexington. Perfect weather everywhere else.

Politico works just as well. Much more useful for this than the actual articles.

Also, note that even if turnout is higher in those places, it might not actually be decisive enough of a difference to matter in the end

If GOP turnout in California was high and dem turnout was low in some election, it would likely just mean the margin would be narrower than expected.

Andy Beshear won his 2015 Attorney General's Race by some 2K Votes. I can't imagine him beeing elected Governor. If he does it will be a squeaker. Still optimistic for Bevin to pull this out!

NYT page came live 1 hour from poll closing - rather late but ok.

Wow, precinct level results! Is this going to be a feature for other elections as well?

We were supposed to get them in 2018 but we all know how that went.

Sometimes they put up precinct-level map results prior to poll closures but end up not filling them in: not sure why. Either way, there may or may not be, depending on how whomever's running that page feels I suppose.

Bevin is gonna win. The exit polls do show some good signs for Beshear but Bevin will still win.

The race could very well be closer than what I anticipated, but Bevin's win is looming on the horizon. This will probably be the last time in a long while that a Kentucky gubernatorial election will even be this close for Democrats. As I've said, if Beshear (and/or Stumbo and French-Henry) wins Elliott County, he might be the last Democrat to win it for the next seventy years.

My brain surgeon who is about to operate on me is from Elliot County and he told me that Elliot County has rebelled against Bevin because he’s too mean just like Hillary. Beshar may just have this in the sjfkkgjfckodxox

There will be NO EXIT POLLING for the two Governor Races tonight. We've to rely on the Raw Vote Totals.

If the gop doesn’t do well in these races tonight, what will that mean for 2020 and trump?

Doesn’t make a difference at all. Would just be pretty embarrassing if GOP manages to lose either KY or MS Gov. Other than that, nada

Nothing unless they lose MS. KY its a pure popularity vs partisan battle - SD and CT aren't going to be competitive even though their 2018 gubernatorial contest was. VA's Dem gains are just a continuation of the state being a new blue bastion/the harshest anti-trump state, so it's just a case of 'news at 11.'

Nothing unless they lose MS.

Even losing MS to someone like Hood wouldn’t really mean anything.
