Seems that Razze and Jimmy, two left-wing heavyweights have endorsed Griff
Griff has also been endorsed by Gov. Peanut (Labour-Lincoln) and Sen. Tack50 (Labour-Lincoln)

He has also expressed interest in running in this thread

If he runs, the nomination is his, but he could do a big fake out (a la IRL Sarah Palin in 2012), which would blow the field open

I’ll probably start a polling company and do some polling on this

Avoiding a divisive primary, could give the Labourites a strong advantage as, they easily won Senate races in both Lincoln and Fremont, and control of all three state assemblies)

Tmthforu’s party switch could make things interesting, but if he runs in the Labour Primary, I think that the party-switch dynamic would lead to a primary loss, if he runs as an independent, and a credible right wing candidate emerges, I think the left would win the election, however, following ASV’s reelection loss, it is possible, he returns to the Federalist Party, setting up a likely tmthforu v. Griff election. If he declines to run for re-election, I think fhtagn, NC Yankee, and YT are possible candidates.

With that said at this early time, SNJC’s Analytical Politics rates this race Tilt Labour (FLIP)

Love this analysis! I will definitely be a regular reader of your potential Analytics publication

If Griff doesn't run, I'm spam PMing him. the primary field is blown wide open, giving you a chance to win the nomination, if he runs, the nomination is his, because of name recognition and high-profile endorsements

You should drop out, your Confederate Party is a spoiler and takes votes away from the Right, which is another reason why the Federalist are an underdog

If you want to run, run for Labor, if Griff doesn’t, because that would blow the field wide open, if Griff runs, the nomination is his, because he has already accumulated high-profile endorsements

LouisvilleThunder and Encke, prominent Federalist Party officials offer a crossover endorsement of Ishan. Interesting, for LT, this definitely helps him in his difficult upcoming reelection bid, he will need crossover support, in an increasingly Labor-friendly Lincoln. Not exactly sure, why Encke offered a crossover endorsement, though, given that he is the Federalist Party Vice-Chair. Also Jimmy7812 has just issued an endorsement of Ishan, without rescinding his prior endorsement of Griss. My guess, is that Griff is still the Labor favorite, but Ishan’s crossover endorsements could make him a very strong GE candidate, if he can beat Griff in the primary

I'm incensed! I've never lost an election that I ended up winning.

We have IRV/STV, so "spoiler candidates" aren't really a thing.

So are you retiring as governor, not that it would be anything other than Safe Labour, but if you do retire, who would replace you

The next election for FM will be in July assuming Parliament is not dissolved for any reason beforehand.
