Good. This money could also serve as payback for the horrible way the Germans treated Greece by forcing austerity upon them during the debt crisis.
I concur the EU and Germany treated Greece in a horrible way and even the EC admits it at this point, even though people like Juncker feebly regrets at best. However, I think that WW II reparations and the austerity ordeal should be treated as separate issues. We have enough jingoists and ultranationalists preying on resentment nowadays, fostered to a great extent by the crisis management policies implemented by Schauble and company. Stirring historic grievances in relation with contemporary conflicts is not a good idea.
