June 23rd, 2016...
A shock result that had the world stunned resided from the United Kingdom
UK VOTES TO LEAVE 52-48%, WORLD MARKETS TANKING, POUNDS CRASHESCAMERON QUITS AS PM, WANTS NEW LEADER TO LEAD BREXIT TALKSFARAGE IS NO LONGER LEADER OF UKIP, DECLARES JUNE 23TH "INDEPENDENCE DAY"
Over the course of the next few weeks, the Conservatives saw Boris Johnson get thrown out of leadership contention by Michael Gove's run against him, Theresa May taking all the remain votes, and Andrea Leadsom's stunning run to a membership vote. But, then a bad interview by Leadsom lead to this...

LEADSOM DROPS OUT, MAY NEW PRIME MINSTER

Theresa May started having the looks of a good prime minister, she was a fresh face for the Conservative Party as well as the true center-right alternative to progressive Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn who was battling calls from his membership to back ways to a soft Brexit and later a second referendum. Polls showed Labour down big, Conservatives going back to seat numbers not seen since the days of Thatcher. But another shock result would come...

CONSERVATIVES STUNNED, SHORT OF AN MAJORITYDUP WILL SUPPORT A CONSERVATIVE MINORITY GOVERNMENT
Brexit was starting to become a major problem for everybody with a hung parliament. The Liberal Democrats, Scottish Nationalists, Plaid Cymru, Green MP Caroline Lucas, some Labour backbenchers, and a small group of Europhile Tories wanted a second referendum. Labour was starting to go back into a pre-2017 election struggle for numbers with no clear Brexit plan and an anti-Semitic controversy Even with the Tories bitterly divided over a plan over Brexit, they still had great leads in the polls. Again, another shock moment...

7 LABOUR MP'S QUIT PARTY, MAKE INDEPENDENT GROUP
Now a new political party is on the scene, while European elections are forced to be called after the Prime Minister's deal falls three times. Now, the new Change UK formally the TIG becomes the party of the second referendum due to their public outcry against Corbyn's lack to move toward it. UKIP is on the board as worry over Tory and Labour talks over a Brexit deal would lead to a permanent customs union and a single market came up. Gerald Batten took over a party on the brink of collapse under Farage left leadership. After both a disastrous 2017 general and 2018 local elections the Brexit crisis was a godsend. The Conservatives looked a horrible governing shambles by this point, they are now finally collapsing in the polls with Labour's second referendum pledges reaching the frontbenches. The Liberal Democrats are the true Remain party in England, while the SNP and Plaid Cymru take up those roles in Scotland and Wales. Nigel Farage has formed a new Brexit Party committed to taking down the political establishment and soon slingshots up the polls.

Latest poll:
Brexit Party 23%
Labour 22%
Conservative 17%
Green 10%
Liberal Democrats 9%
Chnage UK 8%
UKIP 6%
SNP/Plaid 5%

Now, we will look into the story into the future of British politics.

THE BREXIT PARTY
Nigel Farage could not believe what was happening. His Brexit Party sling-shotted from basically an idea to fully-fledged frontrunner in the European Elections. He is seen the moderate anti-EU party, as UKIP are being shown as in a right-wing or even far-right perspective by the media, a talking point he has even used to push for 2014 and 2015 UKIP voters into Brexit Party voters. No doubt it was working, just look, UKIP lost three/fourths of their 2014 vote.

"I was worried that UKIP would split our vote, but our message right now is giving us a clear advantage." Farage said to his advisers.

One responded, "You know Nigel, it does help that you left the party as soon as Batten brought in Robinson to advise him. He has been forced on the defensive the entire time. We are a new party as well, nothing to attack us on."

Another said. "Remember also, we have Conservatives defecting to us like Rees-Mogg's sister helps, heck Nigel maybe after this you could get MPs to defect to us."

Nigel quickly fired back "Do not get too far ahead. We have a European Parliament election to win. That is the aim for right now."
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

UKIP

Nobody who knows Gerard Batten would have thought he could get this mad.

"Come on guys, Farage is beating the crap out of us!"

Farage's observation was right, every time Batten went out to talk to the media, he would have to defend his move to Tommy Robinson as an adviser, and now a tweet from MEP candidate and popular YouTube creator Sargon of Akkad's tweet to Labour MP Jess Phillips.

An advisor ended the quick meeting like this "Mr. Batten at least we have the local elections on the 1st, and we will have all the Eurosceptic vote, no Brexit Party to interfere."

CONSERVATIVES
This was horrible. Submitting papers to nominate candidates to fight for the European Election was already an embarrassment. The party that said Brexit meant Brexit was already worrying their own members with soft and hard Brexit splits within the party, no confidence votes against the Prime Minister, and finally this.

Conservative Central Office was more worried about trying to push the narrative of a deal passing would cancel these elections rather than campaigning. Theresa May refused to even meet with advisers for this campaign, instead to focus on governing and the local elections. There are even rumors flying that the PM would not do any campaign events for the European elections.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
LABOUR
Jeremy Corbyn was also in somewhat of a pickle. He was in second place in the European Elections but had a decent lead before the Brexit Party surge forward. He has no lane to run in, the true stay in no matter what lane was the Liberal Democrats in England with the SNP in Scotland and Plaid Cymru in Wales. The People's Vote lane was being run with Change UK.

Corbyn at this point was just planning to use the party's momentum in order to make gains.

Liberal Democrats Launch for European Elections: Just Stay In

Sir Vince Cable and the Liberal Democrats launched their European Election campaign today where their says in all: Just Stay In. They pledge to come out against any deal if it does not include a second referendum to campaign for staying. They believe that the mood of the British public has changed from the 2016 vote after seeing "the shambles we have seen from this government." Asked about the continually rumored alliance between the party and Change UK, he said "We want in at all costs. They only want a second referendum, so for this campaign, hell no."

Nigel Farage came out on the attack. "Do the Liberal Democrats not believe in democracy? We do, and we will fight on for it no matter what. That is why any votes for the politically established parties is a vote to remain." UKIP says it will address the matter tomorrow in its launch, promising a big move. The SNP and Plaid Cymru are largely expected to mimic the Lib Dem launch in their respective areas.

New polls are in:
Brexit Party 26% (+3)
Labour 20% (-2)
Conservatives 20%(+3)
UKIP 9% (+3)
Liberal Democrats 8% (-1)
Green 8% (-2)
Change UK 5% (-3)
SNP/Plaid 4% (-1)

UKIP ATTACKS FARAGE, LIB DEMS, PM MAY, BATTEN DEFENDS ROBINSON AND SARGON

UKIP launched their European Election campaign today with announcing their two star candidates, YouTube stars Carl Benjamin (also known as Sargon of Akkad) and Count Dankula. Leader Gerald Batten, however, did not spare any punches for former leader Nigel Farage, the Liberal Democrats staying in manifesto, the Prime Minister's inability to secure a hard Brexit, as well as defending himself over the appointment of Tommy Robinson and a now claimed "satire tweet" by Benjamin against Labour MP Jess Phillips.

He said Farage was splitting the anti-EU vote in order to make himself look good to win the European Elections. He said that the Liberal Democrats "were purposing trying to overthrow British democracy to make it a political aristocracy." Batten and Benjamin mocked the media's questioning over a tweet to Phillips about rape. Batten defended Robinson as somebody brought in "to inform me and the party over major issues of our time". After the launch, he walked out of interviews the BBC, ITV, and us at Sky News over not liking the questioning given to him over Robinson and Benjamin. Surprisingly, the only interview he made it through was Channel 4's just hours after calling them "the most biased news operation in Britain."

BREAKING NEWS FROM THE BBC

The Remain Aillance- Lib Dem, SNP, and Plaid Cymru

Sir Vince Cable, First Minister Nicola Sturgeon, and PC leader Adam Price announced their intention to form a true voice for remain in the upcoming European Parliament Elections. They believe that since the referendum decision, the government has been unable to determine a path forward, so for businesses they need the uncertainty they propose revocation of Article 50 to at least find out a plan. However, the leaders made clear they would like to see the UK stay in the EU forever, even floating around the possibility of entering the Euro at some point.

There is some doubt in Westminster toward the fact of even moving in this direction. Liberal Democrats will now pull out all of their candidates in Scotland and Wales in order to help the SNP and Plaid candidates. The Brexit Party and UKIP both called the alliance a "step toward betrayal of our democracy", but both also ruled out a so-called "Brexit Alliance" in response. This is not unexpected due to the fact that both Nigel Farage and Gerald Batten both have ripped into each other recently.

Jacob Rees-Mogg, Mark Francois, and Sir Bill Cash resign from Tories, join Brexit Party

In a major coup for the Brexit Party, Nigel Farage announced 3 MPs are joining his party. Three major Brexiteers Rees-Mogg, Francois, and Cash made a joint statement saying they would not stand in by-elections because they hope with their resignations to trigger a whole new general election. Theresa May even loses the number for a working government even with the 10 DUP MPs. However, they would need even more MPs considering that Change UK MPs are refusing to support any motion of no confidence.

UKIP OFFERS "BREXIT ALLIANCE" TO BREXIT PARTY AFTER REMAIN ALLIANCE ANNOUNCEMENT
After the stunning Remain Alliance announcement, along with a collapsing party and the Brexit Party having 3 MP's, UKIP Leader Gerard Batten has extended an olive branch to the Brexit Party to form a "Brexit Alliance". Batten says that Farage just has to give him and UKIP Deputy Leader Mike Hookem spots on the Brexit Party's list for the European Elections, as well as absorb UKIP seats in the Welsh Assembly, their lone seat in the London Assembly, and their lone peer in the House of Lords. This would effectively end UKIP and merge it with the Brexit Party, uniting the Brexiteers ever so more into one unifying force. Sources from Conservative Central Office are worried that this move were to be accepted, hardly any Brexiteers would vote for the party, or moderates wanting to rule out no-deal Brexit who would vote for Labour or the Liberal Democrats.

REMAIN ALLIANCE
The new Remain Alliance met for the first time in a conference call split between Lib Dem HQ in London, SNP HQ in Edinburgh, and PC HQ in Cardiff. The three leaders were very confident in making a true remain voice. They agreed that their main election strategy would be to attack the Conservatives for their governing of the past two years, the Brexit Party for trying to push the UK off the no-deal cliff edge, and UKIP for its far-right tendencies. They will attack Labour less as they have some friends there who support them, or even running on the party list that they still believe can get in. Instead, they would attack Jeremy Corbyn for not fully supporting a second referendum or even revoking Article 50. However, there are whispers that they should not push too far as Corbyn might try to align with Change UK for a "People's Vote" to protect both his party and himself and start attacking them for being "undemocratic".
