Collins has worn out her welcome. Biden will help carry Gideon over the finish line.

Collins' campaign is out with a GREAT ad for Sarah Gideon.

"My opponent has too many goals and priorities" is not the devastating attack Collins thinks it is lmao

At the end of the day, I think Collins has worn out her welcome as the "folksy moderate who can reach across the aisle". To win a statewide election in Maine, a Republican will need suburban voters to favor them. And suburban voters are turning away from the GOP in droves. After Kavanaugh and impeachment, I think people simply don't buy that she's a moderate anymore.

I just have to imagine there will be more people who rank Gideon last than Collins last

Again, why didnt Troy Jackson run and why did we anoint Gideon? She really sucks. I still think she'll win b/c the environment but I feel like a better candidate would be ahead by more

What makes her "anointed" and what makes her suck?

Bologna. Once she's lost re-election, she has nothing to lose by screwing us over for the next 40 years

Yup.

My current prediction is a 50-50 lameduck confirmation with Pence breaking the tie.

Quote
Sabato’s Crystal Ball, the election handicapper at the University of Virginia’s Center for Politics, has shifted Maine’s hotly contested Senate race toward Democrat Sara Gideon.

The rating change from "toss-up" to "lean Democratic" is the latest sign of trouble for Sen. Susan Collins (R-Maine), who is among the most vulnerable GOP senators facing reelection this year.

Is Maine a Lean D seat?

It’s Lean at worst at this point

I guess this is a somewhat more important "endorsement".

Honestly, props to her for being so vocal about ranking Gideon number two. Huge FF.

Maine, please vote Susan Collins out!

In Collins's defense, there are no non-white in Maine to be racist to /s
