BTW, I'm pretty sure the Progressives did publish a  platform, though I'm certain its totally buried in the thread by now.  We were in the process of adding new planks at a party convention when the party fell apart.

You should really try to get the party back on it's feet -- I'm sure with enough support, you could easily get it back to its previous stature.

I read the Platform and I agree with over half of it. Most about economy things. But civil issues I did not find but one that i agreed with. That was the civil unions.

Alot of their members aren't even centrists.  Look at Iliveverin.  He supported Nader.  He's a greenie.  And a former progressive.

Some are centrists.  But people like ILV and Peter Bell are NOT.  The UAC is a joke.  Vote for one of the two real parties, preferably mine.
----
The AFDNC will later release a list of 'jokes' in the UAC.

How does having people from different areas of the spectrum make us a joke? you have ultra-liberals and centrists, the Republicans have ultra-conservatives and centrists.

Another piece of negative advertising from Boss Tweed.
It's generating publicity for you, so it's positive. Wink
And who will be your Candidate? When will you pick one? Is it decided that you'll have one?

We have decided to have one already, we have decided who it is already but we haven't revealed it yet, building a bit of tension before we name them.

Let me guess...

Gustav?

Bump.

Just as I predicted.

Don't worry Shapey, he won't be on the ticket. We'd rather have him behind the scenes for when we win the presidency over you guys Cheesy

Okay. Thanks. For a minute there, I thought you picked Gustav to run. Wink

Only bad thing about UAC is its name. It reminds me damn Finnish Centre Party.

I think our platform is generally quite much same as Finnish Conservatives one. Excluding drug policy and our support for death penalty.

Huck vote in the D1 Senate elections! Please!
Don't worry. I just did.

Thanks man!
Can somebody give me the result of that election?

If you think we're confused Shapey, then you must be appalled at the state of the other two parties. If I were you, I'd worry about re-electing Nym right now.

More then likely a UACer will become the next president only because y'all have alot of members. But after the election some of the UACer will go back to there roots and join the UL or the ANP.

The vote was straight party-line with 2 progressives voting for Tweed.  Justin refused to change his vote to Andrew because apparently we're all a bunch of Communists.

UAC members are the happiest and most comfortable members on the Forum.  There is no reason to go anywhere else.

This is the party I am sticking to. Sorry for the past few days. With the fall of the republican party we had to do something. Making a new party is hard work you know.
